Will you start travelling the world in search of total eclipses? I'm starting to think about it, seriously!
It's something I'll definitely be keeping an eye on! I love to travel, and I loved my experience today... why not shape future travels around being able to see more?

For example, in August 2027 a total solar eclipse will pass over parts of Spain, Algeria, Egypt, among others. Maybe I could combine diving in the Red Sea! I'll make a note of that and other eclipses in my calendar and see what comes up.

The catalyst for me returning to Montreal at this time was today's eclipse ;)

I didn't really made a fuzz about it myself. I didn't had those special glasses, i was late learning about it + didn't wanted to pay money for this just for a few minutes. So when it happened i just got to my living room with the patio door and look a bit outside (without looking directly at the sun). It was kinda funny it got pretty dark like it was nightime super fast and then came back just as fast but beside that ...? It lasted about what ...10 minutes or so? I saw videos of peoples that filmed it and its ...fine i guess. But i just don't get the big fuzz. Maybe its just me tough lol.

That's because you didn't look at the sun during the total eclipse. Virtually impossible not to be in awe o_O

I saw what it look like in video and its just not something that wow me. I would rather see a Tornado in person or a Volcan iruption personally but hey thats just me.

That’s like saying I saw the Grand Canyon on video! You will never get the feel of it on pics or vids. That short moment when you can take the glasses off and not only look at the sun but also the the surrounding light and atmosphere is unique and makes the entire vision a surreal experience. But yeah, I’ve seen people remaining completely unmoved in front of the pyramids. Me I can time travel in a raindrop, must be the LSD.

I was able to see the eclipse in upstate NY. Unlike many of the areas in NY, where I was it was cloud free and one of the most amazing visual experiences of my life. Watching everything unfold with my safety glasses on was one thing. When it was 100% in totality and you were able to remove the glasses it was truly next level. Glad I was there to see it.
