Bravo djlucky7 for speaking, with another opinion it has more weight.

Now with all the events happening all over the world, we will have to comply even more with all the instructions.
Otherwise it is sure that there will be a 2nd wave.

I have worked in the health field, and I can confirm that everything said djlucky7 is entirely true. So without the media we would have had even more sick and dead.
So those who say this pandemic is over rated .... but Cloud and your friends, me too I hope everything is all right.

I don't think the pandemic is overrated.

With latest study showing that up to 60% of people infected but with no symptoms still get permanent lung damage. This will then make you short of breath forever or worse.
Today, Novak Djokovic just got diagnosed after a tournament. If he get lung damage to a certain degree, you can bet his career will be over.

With the way the american ignore the severity of the pandemic, I am not looking forward to July 4 festivities.

Please keep the border closed.

Unfortunately all I hear about these days is that a second wave is almost inevitable.

I really hope they are wrong, it depends on us.

I put my grain of sand in our beach, meeting women who respect my fears, and who are aware that COVID-19 is still present in our lives.

source please

Very good question 2fast2slow.

I just did a literature review and I never found sources to support this affirmation.

I had put a like, for his last sentence "Please keep the border closed"

For asymptomatic cases with mild lung inflammation and no other signs of illness, pulmonologists say they're likely to kick the infection quickly and see no lasting lung damage.

"I suspect that, if you followed up with these asymptomatic people in several months, most of their CT scans would be completely normal unless they were known to later develop symptoms," Taylor-Cousar says.

Australia to reimpose six-week coronavirus lockdown in second largest city as country battles potential second wave.

Strict lockdown measures are to be reimposed in Australia's second largest city, as authorities scramble to prevent a second wave of coronavirus infections spreading across the country.

Many people think there will be a second wave.

So to make it less strong, please wear the mask.

It's a matter of respecting your compatriots.

Look behind you.
The first wave is not over, letting people finally out and seeing an increase is not a second wave but a waiting virus to great people that went into hiding.
Flattening the curve.... It was meant to drag this out to not overcrowd the hospitals, not to stop this. Many of you have forgotten this.

No it wasn't.
I tried linking to sites that explain epidemiology before but it clearly didn't take.
The idea that the number of people who get it is the same both ways is wrong. That's just not how this works.

The first wave is over in Canada. We went up and went down. The first wave is not over in the US because they never managed to push Rt below 1.

How can the first wave be over when many people were isolated? For a first wave to be over there should be a time when it is not as easily catchable, just like the flu.
Keeping all hidden during a zombie invasion and then letting people out and the zombies strike does not make that the second wave it is still the first. Decided to simplify it a little for you.
And yes I know this is not the flu.

Several countries in Europe have more and more new cases.

Europe is heading towards a second possible wave.

A second wave starting before a first effective vax is introduced, is cause for concern based on how much more serious a second wave is....based on historical facts .

The second wave is here, and is hitting many countries, not just the USA. Israel did well at first but then reopened schools and is getting hit hard with a second wave, resulting in massive government demonstrations.
