I am doing everything right now to avoid it.
If everyone meets the standards, we will get there. Hey! a vaccine or a drug, as soon as possible

Waves of contagion is a regular pattern of pandemic. The chances are very high. Most probably early in the fall. By then we will hopefully know more about the contagion of the virus thus better decision will be taken to avoid massive shutdown.

It’s always wise to observe the actions of the rich & powerful. Don’t see them hanging out at their usual haunts. They’re all still sheltering in their mansions or countryside villas. Also, no one goes near Trump without first being tested for coronavirus. Yeah, prepare for the 2nd wave.

Second waves are caused by paranoid people that lock themselves in their house for 2 months straight and sanitize everything they come in contact with. If you don’t expose yourself to anything your immune system will be shot and make it much easier to get sick. Your immune system is like a muscle, it needs exercise to work. So yes there will be a second wave and it will be caused by the people that spray down their house with lysol cause a breeze came through the door.k

I’ve been thinking about nothing other than a second wave in USA after turning on sky news and watching all the bullshit in USA. If your gonna break the window on a Nordstrom’s and loot, shit, wear a fucking mask at least

I hope that you meant this post as a joke.....otherwise its as dumb as Boldosaro saying that Brazilians won`t get covid19 because their immune system is strong due to the fact that they swim in sewers.
These type of viral pademics are known to arrive in waves. Lysol or no Lysol.
BTW I will assume that you have a "muscular" immune system. How often do you catch a cold ?

I don’t get what this Norwegian chic is doing, or maybe I read the article too quick, or maybe the writer doesn’t know what he’s writing.

The PM essentially says in the article that there may have been a hyper response as the r naught values indicated about 1.1 or something. She’s using data and looking back retrospectively. However moving forward you would imagine that she would wanna use or say she’s gonna use similar data to take further measures like a new lockdown if the data indicates. She’s kinda just saying we r gonna wing it? Doesn’t make sense to me

To be honest, I can’t really see Canada opening it’s borders to USA any time soon. Theoretically the last few nights in USA have been super spreader nights with all the protests/riots and looting. If they do open up I’d anticipate a mandatory quarantine.

Hopefully I can work out my quarantine duration with XO or LePenthouse!

Who knows? There may not be lockdowns again in USA or there may be in some parts. I can see Cuomo getting a chubby thinking of all the press he’d be getting if the shit spirals out of control in nyc again. U see how close all these people r to each other when they are peacefully protesting, throwing malatovs, and stealing Nike shoes from a foot locker. Doesn’t look good. White Obama and others like dougy will have no hesitation to say stay the fuck out yanks

The second wave is the last thing on my mind. I am thinking about when the stripclubs and clubs will reopen and when social distance rules will end. This pandemic is over rated and the media created paranoia and hysteria over this.

Your attitude is good, but at the same time you have to be careful and follow the instructions to eliminate this crisis.

This pandemic is overestimated? with currently 6,130,000 confirmed cases (just yesterday with the USA and Brazil, there were 57,000 new cases). Also 371,000 deaths, and it's not over.
And now with the demonstrations in 25 big American cities where social distancing is not applied, on the other hand many wore the mask.

Imagine that the media had treated this virus as a simple virus, probably that the number of deaths would be greater.

Everyone has their own opinion.

Hi Cloud,

I get it we all want this thing to end. I have people that I love that I can't hug or share close space with because "what ever this is" is still going on and not being able to do that is difficult. Not to mention having a closed off border to Canada and the good people there.

It seems a bit sureal but "whatever this is" that is going on, it has killed over 100,000 people(in the US) in just over 3 months. That much is not imagined when the worst flu year(recently) was 60,000 deaths(US).

I know I can't change your mind about anything and it's a crazy upside down world right now but Cloud, I hope you and your family are still keeping safe.

Also wanted to say that I like your signature "There is no knowledge that is not power."

Cheers my friend,
Fredd

I usually never get triggered by any kind of discussions but all these covid ones make me somewhat angry. This pandemic is definitely not overrated and I'm fearing for a second wave. In the last few weeks I have seen hundreds of pneumonias and people fearing for their lives with most of them being healthy-youngs who were unable to breathe properly. All of out these people only a handful died, not even the 1%. But I'm expecting to see lots of them back in a few years with HUGE health issues caused by lung damage and we're talking about horrific conditions like like pulmonary fibrosis. People comparing this to the yearly flu have no idea about the medical differences. Most complications from the flu occur to unhealthy, obese individual, people who don't have access to health care due to cost, etc...which is why the US is the perfect place for this.
