A lot of indies charge less than 400 and sometimes are available same day. ''they expect us to book some specific date and time''.. yeah because we don't work shifts. My incall is far from my place, and I'm already very busy. It's always the same thing, people complaining about rates, screening and us not being immediately available like Uber Eats.. These discussions just go nowhere.
If I could accommodate same day bookings I would.. sometimes I can. These days it's difficult honestly but that might change. I also can't see every single client who teaches out. Sometimes people are rude and contacting me in a sketchy way, I'm not going to put myself in danger just to please everyone.
Hey Luna, the comparison between agency and indy is meant as a pros and cons between the two. If a client finds the booking process painful and pricing-to-value poor with indys, its their own experience and money and thats just that... we dont need to know your underlying reasons why you cant always see your clients or that you are tired of hearing people complain lol. Sorry but we're getting sidetracked here.
Thanks everybody who replied to my question. From what I gathered so far in most answers people who choose indys do so mostly for a more personal, less mass production type of encounters which is understandable. They often do so with SPs they know, who are well reviewed to make sure they dont get scammed.
Conversly, agency seem to offer better pricing, easier booking and generally less scams/more consistency. Potentially better looking providers though jury still out on that one. I hope they maintain guidelines for std screening as well.
