I do my best to stay anonymous with my activity in this hobby and I'm traveling from another country to visit Montreal. I'm looking to see a few independent providers that have deposit requirements. I'm willing to pay the deposit and assume the risk, but I don't want to reveal any personal information (my full name, email address, real account, etc). Do you have any recommendations for how to provide a deposit anonymously?
One of my chosen providers says they take Paypal or gift cards. Paypal requires a phone number and some personal information to register. A gift card for a large known stores (Amazon, Apple, etc) will require a phone number to register. Would they be willing to accept a more generic gift card such as a prepaid debit card from a smaller website? Do providers in Montreal not accept Bitcoin?

Buy a gift card in a store and send a photo to the provider.

If you send her the images of the card and don't deposit it into your own account, so she can directly deposit it into her own. You buy it snap photos of the relevent parts, send. Where does your number come in? You don't have to have an account to send her the giftcard info.

Ok I see. I don't use a lot of physical gift cards in my personal life so I didn't know. I assumed I was going to have to do everything digital by purchasing on the website and sending an e-gift card.

I think the point is going to a physical store to avoid the electronic connections that you are trying to avoid.

I don't use giftcards, but buy them as gifts for friends and family.

You can indeed buy a physical amazon gift card and send a photo of the redeem code. Or uber or whatever store the lady prefers. Another option is to buy from their wishlists if they have one on a site where you can put whatever name you want.

One more complication. I'm coming from the US and want to pre-book providers. I did some googling and US gift cards typically do not work in Canada. Ordering from a Canadian site to US might be tricky and may also leave a paper trail. Any guidance on this besides waiting until I get to Montreal to buy one?

Are you comfortable with buying off wishlists like Wishtender, Giftful and Throne?

I know that I sometimes receive Lululemon gift cards from my US friends and it works just fine. When I used to go to Starbucks it was working too. You buy then in USD and we receive it in CAD.

Please ask the person before buying a gift card though, you want to make sure they will use it.

If those options are not possible, consider meeting a provider that does not require a deposit.

You mentioned not wanting to reveal your email address, but you can create an anonymous email address at any time with any email provider to contact escorts, and for free. I would suggest you do that. As for the phone number, you can buy another SIM card to get a second real phone number, or use an app but the latest option will block you from some agencies and independent companions. Some do not require a real phone number or a deposit.

Also, I am curious, as it is easy to send a gift card from Amazon Canada (note that in Canada, GCs are best sent from Amazon CA), are you saying that having an account on Amazon would be suspicious? You can create one under the name you want, with the email you want. Also, are you sure you need an account to send most gift cards? I sent many gift cards in my life, and in most cases, you simply enter your name and email of choice, and the recipient's email so it's sent to the right person. It is one of the simpler and discreet ways to send a deposit.

This reminded me, this business is about discretion, not anonymity. It is sometimes hard to distinguish the two.

Buying a gift card on Amazon.ca or Amazon.com will require an account with a phone number. I am planning on buying a prepaid Canadian SIM and registering with a secondary email address to try and buy a gift card from Amazon.ca when I get closer to the date. And then paying for the gift card with a virtual credit card via privacy.com.

The purchasing from the wishlist sites could also work if they only require a credit card.

I think I have enough techniques to try now. Thanks all.

Ok... then why would scammers from around the world (over seas) require amazon giftcards for their scams??? Just a passing thought as I have been watching a lot of Kitboga on youtube these days.????

It is part of why I associate giftcards with scammers. And direct payments as for someone/something more legit.

You don’t need to create an account to purchase from most wishlists

I was wondering about wishlists. So they are anonymous? What information does the receiver get? What about credit card info, etc?

Do they have stores where you live?
Why don’t you buy a gift card from whichever company the provider likes (eg. Amazon) or a prepaid credit card, take a photo of it, and send it to the provider and she can see if it works.
If you don’t feel comfortable with that, you could send it to someone you know in Canada to test it. Hell send it to me and I will let you know!
I don’t see why it wouldn’t between Canada and USA.

No, he is right. Amazon.com cards don't work for Amazon.ca (I have an account on both sites for this reason), and same with uber. I suspect a lot of sites operate in this manner. It's a matter of conversion fees, I suppose.

But I know there are subreddits (and probably other platforms and websites) where you can exchange gift cards with other users, for example "I have a Amazon.com 50$ gc I'd like to exchange for Amazon.ca". The thing is it's becoming too complex for a booking, at that point its probably a better idea to find someone who doesn't ask for a deposit

Indeed, US Uber gift cards don't work in Canada since it's not the same currency. You'll only be able to use your cards in US currency while being in the US. We can use Amazon.com gift cards on Amazon.com but what's delivered in Canada is too limited. That's why I send the link myself when a deposit is necessary and specify to follow the link to make sure I can use it in Canada.

You can put your first name or “anonymous”. All I see is “Anonymous has sent you a gift click here to see what it is”.

Then I click and see the gift, no information about the sender, I have the option to thank them through the platform but it doesn’t show me their email address.

For me this would be way too complicated, if I was to mention to a provider the issues I would be having and there was no forgiveness I would move on unless she was the only SP you wanted to see and there was no second choice.

I agree, options are limited when we want to maintain anonymity while coming from another country. It might be better to go with a provider that doesn’t require deposit.

Maybe you could buy Amazon and Uber gift cards here in Canada and use them next time for a deposit. Keep them in a Ziplock bag in your suitcase so that your partner doesn’t find them. The next time one of us Canadian babes ask you for a deposit, pull one out, take a photo and send it by email.

Just make sure you go on their website to figure out the deposit amount before buying the gift cards.

P.S: Gift cards don’t expire in Canada
