Anyone end up in the list of hacked user accounts at Ashley Madison?

I signed up once when I was on a trip mostly out of boredom and curiosity.
A few years later, when I learned it was hacked, I downloaded the database and there i was. Complete with credit card info. A few weeks later I started getting lots of emails of people using the list to contact you threatening exposure. Of course these were just program generated emails but it was a little nerve wracking for a while? 35 million or more emails sent out by automated emailers...
Any experiences to share?

Why you use your real name? I never give out my real name, I use another e-mail, so even if they hacked the data base, nobody knows it's me! :yo:

Why you use your real name?

When you pay by credit card, you don't have much of a choice, unless you use one of those gifts or temporary prepaid cards (which is the best way IMHO). The thing is, you don't always have one of those cards at hand.

I found myself on it, and was then approached by several blackmailers... I watched a video (in my panicked state) and the fellow counselled me to ignore them, which I did. So far, so good.
