You approach the question from a critical theory/post-modernist stance, while I approach it from the point of view of scientist, trained in the scientific method, and with some basic knowledge in the social sciences. If I find any relevant studies, I will provide a summary of the methods and of the population being studied so that everyone can make their own opinion.

There's a reason why critical theory exists. It's because a lot of studies don't yield the results they are supposed to, or they only apply to a certain part of the population.
In any case, I feel like you fail to see the larger picture and instead of considering my point of view, you are once again subtly accusing me of having "ideology based opinions".
Let's see what your research says. But let me put it this way, the landscape of this industry has changed even within the 4 years I've been in it. It's an industry that changes rapidly.
Demographics change, attitudes and mentalities change, laws change etc. It's pretty simple to understand this.
