Exactly!

Many hobbyists also get their $20 bills from ATM's. How are they supposed to figure out (or even think) that they might be getting fakes?

On another note, a waiter at Reuben's gave us a demonstration yesterday on how to detect fake money. I'm not sure how reliable his technique is, but it sure was original. He rubs the bills against a piece of paper (like an eraser) and if there's color that sticks to that piece of paper, the bill might very well be fake. Again, i'm not a pro and uncertain if this technique is indeed reliable.

Sounds to me like that Stella center should call the Canadian equivilant of the US Secret Service(part of US Treasury) and have someone comeover and give instruction to their people on how to spot fakes. Also fake American money too I suppose.
I think that if someone were to pay with "several" 20's that were fake, that would be a red flag showing intent. If I were to pay $200 for something and only one of the 20's were fake, it would be more plausible that I didn't even know I had a fake.

If you tilt a $20 bill the square gold label with $20 written on it turns to a green colour. That's how you tell it is real.

Fake bills

There are two problems here:
1. To recognize fake bills. And that has been mentioned by Sophia as to how to recognise them and that’s a start.
2. The problem is the report. For some girls, being with an agency leaves the liberty not having to deal with the consequences. The agency can either send a guy, or do a police report, as one agency did and posted on this board.
As for the case of Mike, he did give all fake bills, so there’s no excuse in his case. As for getting your money off and ATM and expecting them to be fake, one advice is to withdraw from an ATM that has a camera. You are sure to have double-evidence: the receipt and the video recording.

Just for the record, I find StripperLover to be very entertaining.

Maybe it's because I don't take everything he writes so seriously, unless it's a review....

I know he doesn't need my help, but I figure it's nice to know when someone appreciate your presence and your writing....

EagerBeaver:

If you look, feel and sounds like Steve Moore did after the "Bertuzzi incident", than maybe StripperLover can get a suspension.......If not, I suggest if you can't take the heat, just change threads and don't answer to people if you think their remarks will offend you....!

real $20 bills do not glow. Fake $20 bills glow under UV light. I discovered this 3 weeks at a strip club, when i pulled out a bunch of $20 bills and one of the $20s was glowing! By the way, i got it from an ATM. They funny thing is I have only ever gotten fake $20s from ATMs.

If only I knew...
A few years ago, a friend got passed about $300 in fakes in a TD banking machine. It took him forever to get reimbursed. The bank never allowed him to see the security tapes of the ATM. He finally got them to refund him when he talked to other peoples he knew who had used the same ATM around the same time and got fake bills. The bank finally admitted that they found the ATM had 1 cassette filled with more than half of counterfit $20 bills randomly spread inside. They never figured where those fake $20 came from (or never admitted to know...)
