Thanks, will definitely look it up and try!One that I really like is still open is Sho-Dan. The other two Miso on St. Catherine and Mikasa on Peel closed long ago.
Hanami and Taketa, both on St-Charles, aren't bad. Hanami has good service all the time. Taketa is hit or miss, but the food is good. Both are still priced better than Matsuno. Matsuno is def better than Hanami though when it comes to flavour.Hi, would like to ask everyone who is a sushi lover, on their take on their most favorite sushi place to eat. My go to sushi is Matsuno in West Island. Always fresh. But it’s Getting pricy. Need suggestions of any newer spots and if possible less expensive.
Agreed, I find okay sushi but it's rare that I find something fantasticAre the good AYCE ones only in West Island? It's kind of far for me, I was hoping to find one more accessible... downtown, it's very basic what we find.
I would maybe not expect fantastic from AYCE but "good" or a bit more interesting than any sushi shop.Agreed, I find okay sushi but it's rare that I find something fantastic
For close to DT, you can try Manga Bistro (next to Kazu) that opened last year. Kaedo sushi they have a restaurant near DT and also in South shore. Are the good AYCE ones only in West Island? It's kind of far for me, I was hoping to find one more accessible... downtown, it's very basic what we find.
