What do you think of this recent signing?
What do you think of this recent signing?
35 year old receiver joins perennial 7-9 team, not much to think about, other than the fact that Owens is guaranteed never to wear a Superbowl ring.master_bates said:http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d80f22c0e&template=without-video-with-comments&confirm=true

So...you actually like cancer??? It's the measure of the Bills desperation, which is worst than I imagined. The real question is, what do you think?

GlavaMan said:T.O. drops too many passes. He ends up in a beef with every QB he plays with. I loved it when McNabb ignored Owens & kept walking away from him on the sidelines! I agree with Doc though, if T.O. helps sell alot more tickets, this will be a good signing for the Bills.
Doc Holliday said:TO is usually a model player & teammate during his first year. It's usually during season 2 that the problems begin. Fortunately for Buffalo, they only signed in for one year.
QB Trent Edwards was actually the one who pushed his GM to sign TO. When Owens got released by the Cowboys (whom i often refer to as the NY Yankees of the NFL), Edwards text-messaged his GM & asked him "what about TO?" Edwards was as surprised as anyone a few days later when he found out from the media that his GM had actually went along with the idea & had managed to sign him.
