Bloody Foot Mailed To Canadian Conservative Party

Some one is tired of losing a sock in the wash and wants the government to finally solve the mystery?
Actually I also thought of this scene when I read the story. It's from Godfather I, not Godfather III, however.
It's being reported that the bloody foot came from a homicide victim in Montreal, whose torso was found in Snowdon:

They found a suspect, and I think it's Rocco from the porn industry, Rocco Sigfried or something like that, who specializes in anal movies. I'm not sure, but they mentioned a link to the porn industry.

Luka Rocco Magnotta, 29, is a self-described model and porn actor with an online presence that includes allegations of torturing and killing kittens. The suspect is also author of a blog post about "how to disappear completely and never be found."
Magnotta has family in the Toronto-area, so investigators are still working with domestic police agencies in case, he said.

Can you explain to me why Conservative Party political members are opening up an apparently foul smelling package, which contains evidence material to a murder investigation, without having contacted the police? Do they receive bloody feet in the mail every day?
Why was the severed foot sent to the Conservative Party and the severed hand sent to the Liberal Party? Why not send the foot to the Liberals and the hand to the Conservatives? Do either of those body parts bear any symbolic relationship to the policies of either party?
Why are the police not identifying the victim, which the article claims they know? I assume the victim's family has been told by now so that they do not have to speculate that their missing loved one was murdered and dismembered?
Why was this murder videotaped? Other than Al Qaeda type terrorists I have never heard of a murder being videotaped and left online for the police to find.

As has been predicted by some media after the smoke bombing of Montreal's metro, all the protest actions would sooner or later trigger some sick minds to react in very disturbing ways. It seems that they predicted true. Montreal is turning into the new Kabul or Beijin with all the protests and the security around. Thank you deaf politicians and thanks to all Canadians who never bothered to vote.
I think it's quite symbolic. The Conservatives tend to kick people in the ass, while the liberals have their hands in your pockets.
