I'm looking at buying a 2008 Acura tsx from either the vermont or ny state.

The price difference is almost 10 000$

Factoring in all the taxes and duty do you think its a good idea?

Check with the RIV if the car can be imported. Not all models can. Also check what modifications, if any you will have to make to the car when bringing it into Canada.

Costs are: 200 something $ for RIV fee
100$ for A/C tax
6.1% import duty
6% GST
8% QST
plus inspection and conversion fees and recall clearance letter from manufacturer.
