Get a Tesla no oil , no gas ! Change your tires like any other car and everything else is done thru 4g network! And it's fast , I tried the P85D and wow got slammed in the back of the head !

Electric Cars can have the best performance, since their motors have less lag (response delay) and are smoother than most non-racing engines running at normal RPM's.

They are expensive to run though and likely to become more and more so since all powerful battery technology relies on metals that are both expensive to find and expensive to recycle.

Because of the lack of raw materials to turn even 25% of the existing fleet into electric cars with batteries, the Electric car is probably not the green car of the future, but will live on as a performance vehicle where it shines.

The real green car to come is the Air car which is the cheapest to build and operate and can be refilled at a billion places where air compressors are already used.

Personally, I buy cars that have been around and were proven to be reliable for many model years, since there is nothing I hate more than spending time at the garage under warranty or not. This leaves a ton of models of any type to choose from.

Well, i always go for comfort first, i have returned vehicles in the past for not being comfortable, whether its my elbow is not comfortable on the arm rest or my knee hits the steering wheel or my ass is sore and uncomfortable(and no its not due to anything sexual,lol) You know that restless feeling when your driving, i just don't like that feeling especially if your going to be in this vehicle for a number of hours, so which one do i check for comfort?

So I'm guessing this little car MIGHT work for you. It's only a 6.3L V12 with 949 HP.

Like everyone else I get very excited by styling, color, all the great gadgets, but the deal breakers are reliability and MPG for a good value. I've turned down some much better looking cars with great toys because their reliability was questionable and there was a hole in the tank (so to speak) that would burn ungodly amounts of money. I remember one salesman who obviously had not wanted to listen to what I asked for pulling around a good looking car with a huge smile on his face boasting like he had a guaranteed sale then becoming dumbfounded when I said NO THANKS to that. Car Salesmen.

I don't like it either when the car has everything electric or computerized, especially when the computer is controlling decisions that should be in the control of the driver. It multiplies potential issues. Some of the controls being computerized are scary.

I don't care how effective the technology is, I don't want the computer having that much control.

For me it is quality, handling and comfort, reason I do not buy North American vehicles ( just my opinion ). My recent purchase was a Subaru Impreza mainly because it was all wheel drive and my daughter is just starting out to drive plus winter driving here sucks. My car of choice now would be the Porsche 911 turbo S, family car would be the BMW X5M. Honorable mention goes to the Audi RS7 sportback ( 0-100 in 3.9 sec for a family sedan ).

Ya, you are showing exotics cars that most of the people can't afford. If I had the money, my car would be the FORD GT, the replica of the famous FORD GT $) that won Lemans 3 years in a row and in 67 If I remember correctly,the 3 cars finished first, second and third that year..... It is to my point of view, the most beautiful exotic car ever produced....

I would not call these exotics that would be reserved for Bugatti, Lamborghini, Ferrari etc. The cars I listed were cars I would "like " to have, as for now I make due with a 98 BMW and 2012 Subaru.
The new Ford GT coming out looks like one hell of a nice car and the original is a timeless masterpiece.

Je suis comme une femme : je veux que mon cul soit confortablement assis, que ça soit facile a stationner et que mes seuls dépenses outre l'auto/assurance soit de l'essence, du liquide lave-glace et de l'huile. J'ai une auto neuve a toutes les 4 ans, les 3 dernières des allemandes (c'est après 5 ans que c'est pu trustable lol).

Recently i got rid of my 2012 Civic, i hated it; noisy, lack of performance, high insurance premiums, crappy stereo. So i leased a fully equiped 2015 Nissan Rogue SL black. It's so much more comfy lots of space, great Bose sound system and it looks great! Now i'm thinking driving for SP's.. ;-)

Congrats on your vehicle !Driving SP's with a rented vehicle is not a great idea as you will be exceeding your pre authorized Kilometers ,lot of kilometers in this business

Things to look for when buying a used high performance car:

The driveline has to be suspect as a majority will drive the shit out of their cars. These are things that should be checked and will cost about $300 if you can not do it yourself ( money well spent )
Since many motors are boosted a compression test plus leak down test should be done ( even for non boosted cars ), if any cylinder has a leak down of 10% or more not good, if compression is supposed to be 160 and all are not within 10 PSI plus none different more that 10 PSI than the rest I would pass on the car. U-joints should be checked, the differentials should be checked for metal shavings ( easy to do, just put a magnet in the filler hole). Transmissions: manual, check the fluid to see if it smells burnt and test for gear grinding ( you can also magnet check for broken gear parts ), automatic: check fluid and look for smooth shifting and no slippage. Many HP owners change the bushings to poly and that is hard on the frame so check the supports for cracking. Always have your used car checked by an independent person, the money you spend could save you thousands and it is a good piece of mind.
