That's actually how I've felt about this thread... This is one of my top 5 favorite threads of all time for pure entertainment value. Watching Whorbel and Just Boring square off in debate, with intersecting commentary from Techwoman and BSshoveler is like watching squeegy kids beating each other up on corner over a crack rock. You don't care who "wins" -- you just want them to hurt each other, so that they can entertain you while you wait at the red light, and this way they leave you alone... I will try to throw in another comment later to keep the fire fueled...

O.K. So Canada is known throughout the world as being the country with the most freedom. Didn’t your love interest just explain to you the difference between freedom in Canada and the US in an earlier post? I believe it had something to do with collectivism or communism, how I see it.

So basically you don't know squat since Canada's rank is 18.

Now if you can read properly you will see that US rank is 48th. And while the US is making progress since the year before, Canada is loosing grounds. That could make an argument on your concern of what is going on in Canada.

The reason we 'waisted' our time is basically because we honnor freedom of speech and we're smart enough to know that if you are in favor of it ...than you have to be in favor even of views you despise.

What Beautydigger did and I will give him this...is that he made sure to have his views expressed.

He is also wrong about me sitting back and laughing my ass off about this thread. He was unable to digest the post about my being concerned about fascism spreading from Canada to the US. He also does not understand what an illegal alien is. He is like JB and I don’t often agree with Korbel, but this time I do. Beautydigger, we don't agree on much but man I can't argue that Vista does suck serious ass. It's the most annoying OS... So many of the new features just hog performance in exchange for pretty (useless) pictures and effects.

I’ve been working in the computer industry for over 20 years and have never seen a bigger scam than Vista. As of now they have four versions of this piece of crap! I am hanging on to XP for as long as I can. You used to be able to get a new PC with XP, but they stopped that about 2 months ago. Microsoft is one of the biggest monopolies out there and needs to be taken down.
