When I countered my own point, I could only come up with three minor examples of things the right might impose. Compare that to the endless list of nonsense the left pushes… should be really clear which side is the real imposition on society.
The whole point of conversation - especially on college campuses - is to exchange ideas and walk away with something to think about. That’s gone now. I was raised to question things, but instead of real dialogue, I’m instantly branded a “far-right, Nazi, racist, transphobe” by people who can’t handle being challenged. Aka what happened yesterday.

I’m always open to debate and new ideas but only if they’re presented in a calm, respectful way. The left has made that impossible. Their tantrums and bullying killed civil discourse, so why should anyone care what they have to say anymore?
People are tired of the meltdowns and name-calling. They’ve lost all credibility, and honestly, most of them don’t even seem stable enough to hold a real debate without lashing out and throwing labels around.

Social média brought so much division. Reading peokpe here being happy the Guy is dead because they dont agrée with him is simply crazy. Even if I believe that most of his ideas are/were just wrong on abortion and firearms and religion, its something else wishing him dead like we are reading here. we are all living in very sad Times. Condoléances to his family.
Dont blâme the left or the right here. You can havé your opinion on vaccines but it changed the course of history by drastically increasing expected Life span. And living in society means limitations on some of your freedoms. The rest is noise.

Many people hate Trump, but they do not understand that in many ways he is the reflection of their own hate. Without that hate still being cultivated in a so called “democratic” media Trump would not be able to continue with his antics looking like a warrior.
lol professional? Pretty much zero indication of anything professional about the shot or shooter. Standard bolt action rifle found at many stores, the lazical dasical walk both to the roof and down. Any pro that had military background would be wary and know to avoid all the cameras and certainly wouldn’t leave the firearm so close
Do you realize that the shooting occurred on a college campus? There are cameras everywhere on most college campuses, and given the large number of potential eyewitnesses, the shooter must have known he could not get very far without being seen with the rifle. It seems reasonable to conclude that both of these possibilities were anticipated and that is why he dressed up on a warm day like an alien would. I would not rule out this theory. This is not to mention killing someone by firing one (1) shot from a distance of 200 yards. This is twice the distance at which Lee Harvey Oswald, a military sniper, who achieved sharpshooter status with the Marines. shot John F. Kennedy (although Kenniedy was a moving target in a motorcade, and was not stationary like Kirk was). It's safe to assume that this kid knew how to use a rifle.

Nothing about him and he’s been captured is indicative of professional. In fact especially the short distance and caliber choice. There are far greater means of disinformation that could have and would have been enacted. Dig into some spec-op non fiction start in Vietnam era to present and you can get a better sense of capabilities and distinction
You don't have to like the guy, or anything he stood for. I certainly didn't and don't.
But you have to be a bit broken yourself not to see how awful an event this was - on multiple levels.
