CRA SCAM

Just got off the phone with CRA, seems like this scam has caught a lot of people. In the e-mail there are 2 links to the CRA login and once you login they will have your ID plus password.
She says this scam comes from India and many have been scammed by this.
FYI, best to always check your e-mails before you click any links, I always do. Keep alert as there are parasites everywhere. Main thing to look for is your name not being there.

No, always check when something like this pops up, a CRA phone call takes less than 20 min.

I got a call from a guy from India regarding my cars warranty. It was obviously bullshit. He told me if I paid another £595 he would extend it for another year. I just stayed on the phone and talked to him about my day for 15 min as I “looked for my wallet” and he hung up and never called back‍♂️

I like to toy with these guys when they call. I keep telling them to speak up because my hearing aid isn't working until I have them yelling 'Show me the money!'

In the past I acted interested to one scammer, ordered a few hundred dollars worth of stuff, took my time looking for my wallet, gave him various wrong CC numbers until he finally hung up.

Everytime I get a phone call from an Indian dude I just call him Kerpal and ask him why his daughter came over to kick my dog or ask him to tell Armander to come pick me up at the air port.

Just got an e-mail from paypal saying my account has been limited for security reasons, if I want the limit taken off click the link and enter my security info.

I wonder how many people fall for this stuff.
