The month to month services are great. You can also pause your service, on Fubo you can do it for up to 3 months and not loose any recordings, favorite lists, season passes, etc. I like the fact that if you have an issue with any of the streaming companies you can simply switch to another one. Another great thing is that the streaming companies actually answer the phone and help to resolve issues. Unlike how the cable company will put you on hold for hours on end until they accidently/on purpose disconnect you.

Update to the update about FuboTV. You can now view 4 channels at once. Being from the NYC area we have 3 local hockey teams to watch and along with the NHL network I'm looking forward to Hockey Night on Saturdays when games begin!
Question for you guys: can you record 2 live sporting events that are on different channels at the exact same time slot? I may need to do that this weekend on Hulu Live TV. I would usually watch one event and tape the other, but I am not going to be home during that time slot. So my plan is to try and tape both events and then watch them one after the other Saturday night. Anyone ever tried doing this on Hulu or other streaming service? I would think you can, but don't really know.
I know that I can do this on YouTube TV so it must be possible on Hulu too. Both are streaming services that record events in the cloud and not on a physical disk physically located inside a DVR in your house. Just search both events in the Hulu menu and set up the recordings the same way you normally would. It should work fine.

I am going to take a wild guess that if Firestick is being blocked, it's because it is being used to pirate content that is not licensed and paid for. It has long struck me as a quasi legal device based on the uses it is being put to. If you are getting something for nothing in life generally (excepting baseball trades with the Pittsburgh Pirates GM), it is usually theft/larceny. Of course, some people think they are entitled to something for nothing, and have great difficulty distinguishing right from wrong until they find themselves in Court and charged with larceny.
Does anyone have any experience with Virgin TV? Do you recommend it? I am on the South Shore and currently using Videotron.
I've been using firestick for about 3 years (hacked) I get literally thousands of channels no commercials HBO, showtime, crave and every country's TV stations literally everything and my hacker only charges me $140 per year.
My provider does. Its either by Mac Address (stalker portal) or by Xtream code (m3u link with username/pass) And the service is fantastic at 15$ a month or 40$ for 3 months
For me the big thing with cutting the cord for a streaming service was getting my favorite sport teams' broadcasts. I sign up for a streaming service but six months later the service drops the team. It seems that more and more, the streaming services are cutting out covering local teams. Then last week, I saw this in a local paper:
"MLB has long been tied to regional sports networks for local broadcasts but is now in talks to launch a streaming service that would allow fans to watch hometown teams without a cable subscription.
The NBA and NHL could team up with MLB to create a local sports streaming package, which would exist alongside cable broadcasts and MLB’s out-of-market streaming service MLB TV.
The new service could range from $10 to $20 per month, depending on geographic region."
I thought this would be big news in the sports world, but I did not see much coverage of the story. To me , this would solve most of my cord cutting worries.

^^^^At first I thought your post was written in error, but I did a little research and I'm glad that it was not. I think it's more about the revenue that MLB has been losing due to the decline in viewership, but I'll take it anyway. Local cable companies have their greedy paws all over this and won't let go without a fight. Looks like it's only for home games as well but it's a start:
