My French is not too good, but I think I understand enough.
If this is all true, that pressure or possibly some form of intimidation was used, you should have considered very well what to do before deleting the evidence. If you were unsure what you wanted to do then you have time to consider your choice more fully, though the report should be quickly enough after the incident, while preserving everything necessary to back up your claims. I believe all Merb members support every member against the kind of situation you describe. It's intolerable, it should be stopped, and we all want to see more honest critical reviews because it in all of our interests, especially reports of improper pressure.
If it's all true it's good that you are still trying to make a case and provide us with at least a reason to be more guarded. I thank you for raising some concern. But without the evidence it becomes a matter of who to believe...not fact, such as the PMs given to the mods might be.
If this happens in the future with anyone or any agency please report whatever confirmation evidence you can provide. You will be generally supported. But in this case without documentation your story may be sincere, and seems compelling, but I would like to see Nadya reply only if the documented facts were provided to warrant it. Right now there's no reason to.
Given the timing of your report, being so long after the fact, I don't think it's possible to give you the credibility you want. The timing itself is suspect, and it's quite unfair to Nadya and her agency when distance from the episode has skewed their ability to reply accurately.
Next time please consider being timely and well-supported. Any incident like the one you describe is a grave matter and reporting it should not be put off. But leaving it like a "he said, she said" matter (unsupported) is not very helpful or fair...no matter how important the warning may be.
