Do you tell anyone about your hobby ?

Over the years I've been wondering who to tell about my hobbying habits.
So far, I've been answering the truth whenever an escort asks me how often I hobby.
I was also very transparent with a sugar baby I was seeing for a long time ( I knew it would never evolve into a traditional relationship ).
But with other potential sugar relationships, I'm not sure what I should admit to.

I've considered telling my best friend, because he's also a single dude, but he has less disposable income than me and I don't want to make him jealous.
Also, I have some open-minded friends but I wouldn't want the information to spread uncontrollably to anyone.

If I meet someone for a "traditional" and exclusive relationship, I'm pretty sure I will NOT tell them I've been seeing escorts every week. I might have to lie and say I've never done it. Or maybe should I admit to having just "tried" a couple of times ? I guess it depends on the person. I don't want to scare them away.

What do you answer when in the context of traditional dating, a woman asks you if you've ever done it ?

Same here. Actually I am new in the hobby. Accidentally a friend of mine wanted to try massage parlor as in his bucket list and I helped him look for information.
But after finding some I opened a Pandora box and my thirst for knowledge and curiosity made me arrive and start.

Even that friend to date think I only did MP.

A long time ago, being Catholic at least very technically, I attempted a confession by telling my priest I had received a blow job from an escort. His response was to ask me if it was from a girl or a boy. I walked out of the confessional, and haven't been back since.

I'm very careful about who I discuss what with, but I have formed relationships. I have about 4-5 close friends who are also mongers, so it's not really sharing outside the industry, per se. We know each other other and where we live, we see each other socially when the possibility is there, and we travel together on trips. I have about another 15-20 people who I know more casually in the field, as it were, and with contact through my online alias, that I will see when our travel schedules collide. We will talk to each other about trips and see each other that way, but not having a close and open friendship like the other 4-5. Most of us live in different cities so the vast majority of our contact is online, especially now that I've moved back to Montreal. I do not discuss my mongering with people who are non-mongers, so who knows? I may have even more friends that are into it than I know! lol.

One person in my life knows about it.

I will never disclose this to anyone ever. Family, friends, nobody in my life will ever know. That's why I hate going to places that are not discrete. I am always afraid I will run into someone.
