I am happy when Trump focus on Greenland or Iran or Venezuela or Mexico or any place far from Canada
The US and Europe have been splitting ways anyway based on elections last 20 years, just like a married couple that goes other ways as they grow different.
Europe can celebrate further increasing diversity, open borders, "misinformation" censorship, and green energy. Americans can celebrate their own heritage, tight borders, zero censorship, and fossil fuels which they have a ton of .

And why is he sending this to Norway? Denmark owns Greenland. Trump probably thinks Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden are all the same country.
Trump understands perfectly that US can get everything from Greenland without actually owing it. I believe the intention is much more sinister. He is using this as a pretext to distance US from Europe and NATO. He considers European Union more as a competitor or even foe than an ally and its social democratic ideology more “poisonous” to the US than dictatorships in China and Russia which he actually admires.
In polls, a strong majority of Americans disaprove his actions on Groenland.
