Qualified yes. Usually there is a spike around political scandal or publicity as such events tend to liberalize viewpoints.
In the last fifty years you can see the spikes. Starting with the Perfumo Affair - 1963, Gerda Munsinger, Xaviera Hollander, thru Clinton / Levinsky and so forth.

More specifically do the types of make up of agencies cycle? Do the SP's cycle? Do services cycle? Is it better based upon a particular season? or happening?

CS Martin, I see Fall as the Entry Draft... there's always going to be a new crop of rookies entering the league annually.
Doesn't anyone else notice a solid trend towards 30+ SPs? I'm all for more mature SPs getting into (or staying) in the mix.
Good questions, CS. I've pondered some of the same questions too in an attempt to pick the best times to travel to Montreal. I've planned my trips intuitively based on reasonable assumptions such as the one you mentioned above (new talent every fall), but I can't say that I've really found many predictable patterns. Who happens to be on the roster on a given night has always been a craps shoot for me, no matter how much logic I use to game the scheduling of my trips.

Yup, same here. You can plan and plan, but sometimes you get nothing and other times a grand slam. I remember two nights of duos with the same ladies, then other trips total disappointments.

After the Holiday season is time when I see a higher than normal # of SPs in the market. Like everyone else, they're motivated to pay off holiday bills from shopping + vacations.
You have to consider the key holidays + ideal vacationing periods of the yr when looking at SP availability.
I avoided commenting on the crimson tide... every lady is different though some ladies who work together swear they're cycles are sync'd. Who am I to argue.

This is what I've been hearing. Even the "great sultan of new talent" has been doing a little recycling.

I don't notice that trend of high volume recycling... there are plenty of new SPs joining the ranks. POV: Is it possible that veteran Hobbyist have increasingly particular needs/tastes leading to higher repeat rates? I can see that happening since TOFTT doesn't always lead to a great session, leading to repeats with tried and true sure things.

Now that's an excellent idea!! One caution: One of my very favorite former Montreal SP friends (a very select set) is rabid Blackhawks fan. Can you imagine having dinner with this LADY and giving her a HABS jersey.......
I usually get bored with an SP if she's not interesting. The older I get, the less it takes to bore me. So unless an SP is entertaining in a number of ways, she lasts about 2 calls before boredom sets in. There's that one in a million SP or Lady that continues to facinate, like Samy.
