That's right, that's what happens, the dental clinic does not expect the customer to call them to confirm, they are the one to followup w/ the customer.
and sorta to the prior poster's experience.. once i was trying to set something up in another city. the lead time was about 4 weeks. i reached out to the lady to go over hotels suitable to her. once decided i said something like great, I'll get back to you...
this was someone we'd seen each other in about 12 months earlier.
i got back to her in about 6 days. (again, lead time to the eventual meeting was about 3 weeks at that point)
No reply back... if my timing to get back was an issue with her, why didnt she follow up to me.
Mind you, about 6 months before that conclusion, she took a deposit from me for a appt. we settled on a place that she'd visit me at, then on the day of, she cancelled saying she didnt like the particular hotel... saying it was up to her discretion despite not a first time customer.
She pocketed my deposit btw... with not future discussion of what happened to it/ roll over credit.
just seemed to be too high strung of a provider.
