Merb is great!

I love you guys....lol Remember the beer ad a few years ago for Bud Light? Anyway, EagerBeaver is truely a genius...all his advice is dead on!!! I'd just ad or confirm things others have said. First, OJ taught us to deny everything no matter what...lie lie and lie some more...lol Second, if you can prove WITHOUT DOUBT to your family on MERB who this scumbag is, we will boycott them 100%. Lastly, NEVER pay extortion...it is a slippery slope. PM me if you'd like some help from "friends" I know...we will leave it that vague!

This whole thing doesn't make sense. An agency making in the thousands per night waits 3 months to exact revenge for $100 and a bad report. How can you be sure that it isn't a neighbour who has noticed what appear to be escorts being dropped off at your house?

I wondered that too, but would a neighbor call at 5 in the morning?

I may be dumber than average but who in their right mind, with a wife would hire an SP to come to their home? Damn, for $40. rent a motel and save yourself any possible problems.

Have a friend call and leave a message that your wife is screwing around... if she tells you and says it isn't true agree with her 100%... show complete faith in her... and show nothing but contempt for the call....

If she doesn't tell you, have your friend call again with a similar message but you pick it up... be disgusted by the very thought of it, have her listen to it, have her deny it and you believe her right away...

Then you have a little protection if she picks up a message about you...

If she hears the message and is embarrassed and nervous then you have another situation to deal with...

You are a genius. I have a sneaking suspicion you could probably solve global warming if you put your mind to it.

Dee,

This is the most thoughtful and clever post you have made in the years you have been posting on the Boards. I wondered about how much you had between the ears, but I wonder no more. Good stuff!:)

I wouldn't be surprised. Some people
- have nothing better to do
- or get really offended by this
- want to be the morality police
etc.

If you are really trying to solve the mystery I suggest looking at your neighbours. Unfortunately I don't how to solve the problem. However, stay very calm and say less than more if talking to your neighbors.

As someone suggested, your guilt may be your own demise. Stay cool.

did you ever consider?

First, let me suggest I can sympathize with your predicament, as I have also been in this situation.

It was during a time when I was one of three partners in as small company in New York City. One of my partners was getting married. We had a staff of 8 employees. As a surprise, as best as one can attempt, we planned a bachelor party at an AMP residence,… basically planned to take over the entire place for 6 hours. Everyone was supposed to attend, but the last minute, I was called for emergency business in Toronto. On the way, and instead of going to the surprise party, I immediately proceeded to the airport.
While fast asleep in Toronto, I get a call from my wife, stating someone called our residence and offered a similar story to yours, had even suggested that they were Asian working girls and made reference to some of the specifics of the night’s events. My wife was smart enough to let the entire story play out, actually took some notes knowing full well, I could not have been there. Turns out, it was one of my wackjob employees. He felt the cost of the evenings proceedings would have an effect on his year-end Christmas bonus and was pissed-off at me, as I was the chief organizer. He had cancelled last minute, suggesting he had work he wanted to finish at the office. He had no knowledge I was not in attendance, when he called my home from the office. Took awhile to figure it out, but the phone records brought it all together.

Here’s the part, your not gonna like and I hate to be the one to tell you,…..but she already knows!

Yes, everyone knows your upset and probably not thinking clearly, you probably feel guilty as fuck, maybe not,…. but I have serious problems with the stupidity imparted with your choice of local.

Now, lets consider your wife.
I am sure she is an intelligent women, as every women I know is certainly smarter then every man I know. Additionally, they have a gift, for many things, especially this stuff,..... women’s intuition in conjunction with some CSI gene.
It is hard enough, trying to pull-off this hobby outside your playground, but in your own sandbox, that’s just impossible.
Perhaps she found a single hair, an air of fragrance, an air of sex,…. whatever. Resign yourself to the fact she knows, and she set you up with the phone call,… dad, a friend, a co-worker,… and waited for your response or mention of the event. Which to this point, you have failed miserably in not mentioning the call. Just my gut.

On a lighter note. My bachelor party partner, married and not even a year into his marriage confronts me one day. Wants to know if I know anything about drippy-dick,…….Sea-monkeys, crabs,..certainly, but thankfully not the clap. Besides the obvious, he is concerned because he has probably passed whatever he caught from this thing he was boning on the side, to his wife. He decides he is going to break the news to her when he arrives home that evening.

Fast forward,….. the next morning at the office.
He tells me,… before he could fess-up to the deed, his wife beat him to it. Suggested she had caught the clap from doing the dirty-boogie with the manager of her health club and suggested he should get checked out. Also suggested she was aware he had been cheating on her for months and was moving out at the end of the week.

As all of us do, whatever we do, it usually comes with a price-point and not necessarily monetary. I also do not believe in coincidence and you yourself know, everything happens for a reason. I am sure there is much more to come, unfortunately, as it has not fully played out.
With that said, I have serious doubts about the crazed Chinaman being the guilty party and has nothing to do with the 100 bucks.

I hope I am wrong!
Good Luck!

Questions:

1. Did you fire the wackjob employee?
2. Did you give him his much anticipated year-end Christmas bonus as severance?

Actually yes,.....guilty on both counts!
I felt bad as I am sure he had other issues. It was unfortunate business wise also,.....he is a very talented graphic artist.

You are all great!

I find this post fascinating...we all have this fear...is that why? Anyway, you all make really good points and I don't disagree with any! That is a first for me...lol We all love and hate woman for the same reasons...think about it! I wonder what we could all accomplish as men, as a society, as a civilization, if we spent all the energy we spend on chasing the skirt on such nobel causes as...oh I don't know...curing cancer, world hunger, preventing war! I smell a new thread or poll coming soon...lol Keep up the good work!

They're trying to lure you in..

They probably do this to alot of people to see which one of the fish will bite on the "hook".
Once you bite, they'll suck you dry..

Don't call them.
If they call again, it's a bad joke..
