Erase, Gonorrhea and the Future

After following this issue with interest (the incident, the bickering, the positive/negative repercussions, etc) I'm curious what impact this will have, if any, on the community as a whole.

Would you

1) Continue seeing sp's as normal
2) Continue seeing sp's but stick to CBJ until some time has passed and there are no more infections reported
3) Stop seeing sp's until erase publishes the name of the girl and agency (and the mods allow it to stay visible)

Greenmachine, you can remove everything after "Stop seeing sp's..." in your option #3. It won't happen unless we have absolute proof, namely the SPs in question came forward and said it was true and they were the ones. So... It won't happen...

Whether it will happen or not, that wasn't the point. The point was, do people care or not.

I suppose you could wonder whether censorship on the part of the mods would lead to the board becoming less relevant, and perhaps merbites would decide to start going elsewhere to discuss and share and all the good things that we do, but I didn't say that.

I personally don't feel any such need - I like Merb the way it is - but a health issue changes the game a little.

If you wish to start a general discussion/poll without any connection to another member or a particular provider, it is fine. As soon as you bring another member into the picture you have crossed the line.

And if you believe that any other board will allow unproven accusations to be posted about any member or SP, I suggest that you try posting the accusations there and see what will happen.

Anyone who is not aware of the health risks of the hobby should not be part of it in the first place. There is no such thing as 100% safe sex. The only thing that is possible is safer sex and everyone should be aware of that by now.
