Looking at the semis you have two rising stars in one semi with Eugenie facing Halep. I would expect Kvitova, the 2011 champion, to win the other semi.

Genie was dominating in most of her matches so far. But it'll be a tough grind against Halep. I predict that the winner of this match will win the title.

Genie also looks great in white. I love her outfit, which exposes her long, slender legs. :thumb:

Up next is Milos Raonic. If he wins, it'll be first time in history that a Canadian male & female reaches the semis at a major in the same tournament. Go Milos!

Habs Nation!
It's also the fact that with that semi finals she's making the top 10 of the WTA ranking!!

Halep and Kvitova want to win too. Nobody is going to lay down for Bouchard. However the Halep vs. Bouchard semi will determine whose star is rising fastest.

She will be ranked 8th if she loses her next match. If she wins, even better. I don't recall any player making such a dramatic jump within a 1-year period!

What a performance! Chris Evert picked Genie to win Wimbledon! I can't wait for Saturday morning!

Milos Raonic's match against the favored Roger Federer should be a dandy! Go Milos!

Milos won't win Wimbledon, and tbh I don't see him winning any GS in his career, but he can aim to be top 5...

I see the Joker winning this weekend, but the future currently belongs to the likes of Milos Raonic, Stan Werenka & a couple of others...including Sharapova's boyfriend, whose name escapes me.

Did you mean Stan Wawrinka ? If so he'll be 30yo soon

But yes, Igor Dimitrov is probably THE actual rising star.

Milos has zero genius in his game. His only chance is to wait this incredible generation to get old, and hope no superstar rised. He probably needs to finish more points on net and to improve his backhand...

I wasnt aware that Wawrinka was 29, but in the men's game he could be in his prime right now. Dimitrov looks good, so,do a,couple of Aussies incl. the guy who played Raonic yesterday.

Federer is fading, and so is Nadal, who at times appears worn down by injuries. He's also got ambad back, which will never gomaway and will always affecthis game.

Raonic has improved his play considerbly over the past year. He moves better on the court and antipates the play better. But he's the besr server on the planet and if can remain comsistent he'll be a player to watch out for.

For the next couple of years, it looks like it'll be the Joker and a few pretenders.

Well, now that Genie Bouchard got trounced in her first match at the Rogers Cup, maybe hotel rates this week will go back down to their normal level. The rates for hotels i saw today made me wonder if the F1 GP wasn't being held this weekend!
