Eugenie Bouchard and Justin Bieber dating

LOS ANGELES - Music superstar Justin Bieber's surprise visit to Montreal this past weekend was no coincidence, considering that Canadian tennis sensation Eugenie Bouchard was also in the city to visit family and friends. We now learn that the two have been spotted at several of the city's trendiest clubs along St-Laurent boulevard. On Friday night, Bieber was spotted entering Buonanotte with his entourage. Twenty minutes later, the tennis phenom was spotted arriving with several friends and insiders reported that the two immediately hooked up and spent the entire weekend together.

At the recent Australian Open, Bouchard had awkwardly stated to the center-court crowd that her dream date was Justin Bieber, which led to a chorus of boos from the crowd.

Bouchard, 20, stated to the press that she had not expected such backlash from tennis fans all over the world. However, she added that not only was Bieber a fellow Canadian, but she found him handsome, talented and wealthy.

Bieber, also 20, told the Hollywood Insider that his love life was no one's business and added that he was indeed friends with Ms. Bouchard. He did say that he found her very attractive, talented and smart, but that people should not get carried away just because they had spent the entire weekend in each other's company. As for Ms. Bouchard, one of her close friends who wanted to remain unanimous stated that Eugenie is very much in love with Mr. Bieber and that the feeling is mutual. She added that she would not be surprised at all to see them get engaged in the near future since she believes that the two are legitmately madly in love with one another.

Never Say Never.

And I thought she was just kidding when she blurted out his name!

If what Doc says is true, she might be in for a very rough ride considering all the recent Bieber misbehaviour. I would have hoped she would be more discriminating. But at 19, I guess this could happen. Or maybe she can help straighten him out?

Thanks for the reality check, Igna. But I did write: "If what Doc says is true...."

In any case, it was a quality prank as it was well constructed.

What other ones are you referring to?

From Steve Simmons of the Toronto Sun:

"This can’t be good: Keep hearing that Eugenie Bouchard isn’t the sweetheart everybody makes her out to be. And hearing it from people who would know."

Eugenie is in to the semifinals where she has a daunting task in facing the odds-on favorite, Maria Sharapova. I feel that Sharapova will be highly motivated for this matchup, perhaps seething with resentment as she looks across the net and sees herself 10 years ago. It was 10 years ago that Sharapova made the big splash, and received attention both for her looks and her tennis. Now the younger, more beautiful Eugenie has stolen that attention. Eugenie is the new glamour girl, Sharapova is the aging star, and Sharapova is not happy about it. I think she is fired up to kick some ass.

This will be a great battle between two tall, strong, attractive blondes whose careers are now on different trajectories, Eugenie on the way up and Sharapova on the way down.

Should be a good match. Maria has had multiple shoulder surgeries , only 27 , - look for an upset with Genie taking it and not get distracted by Maria's screaming.

I need to go get some gluten free Pintys for the match

Eugenie has committed to the New Haven Open, which is a hardcourt warm up tournament for the US Open held at the Connecticut Tennis Center in late August:

I have attended this tournament, which used to be known as the Pilot Pen, many times over the past 20 years. I remember seeing Venus Williams win the tournament twice. One year they promoted the tournament by putting the players who were not playing in matches in the beer tents. My buddy was actually served beer by Jana Novotna. I hope they reinstitute this policy this year and I have a chance to have Eugenie serve me some beer.

She had a long heated arguement with her coach during practice yesterday & left the court fuming. Hopefully the spat won't affect her game this morning. It should be a great match between two of tennis' top beauties & i'm picking Genie for the win & her second consecutive Grand Slam final this year. I DREAM OF GENIE!!! :thumb:

1 set all, as usual Sha took her time to enter in the match and is now almost unstoppable.

Incredible match, Eugénie is a potential top 3 and probably a future number one as Sha and Williams are way older...

She would be a great ambassadress for her sport, not like Williams and Sharapova who are totally unpleasant..

Insiders who have been 'close' to Genie have also called her as being very unpleasant. Some have even hinted that the smile quickly goes away once the cameras are turned off.

As for Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova, it's my opinion that they've been great ambassadors for their sport & Maria has never been afraid of the cameras & limelight. She loves the attention & appears to enjoy being interviewed, just like Serena. I don't get the 'unpleasant' reference at all.

p.s. 'Genie' got her ass kicked in the final two sets & was easily beaten by the superior Sharapova, who is now moving on to her 3rd consecutive Roland Garros final.
