For clients or providers? Honestly i think both have their + and their - in term of security. Also depend on the location. An outcall in a classy hotel seem more secure than at a private residence or a motel. At least at first glance. For a client hosting in a hotel also seem more secure than going at an incall location. But if an SP suddenly lost it (because intoxicated or whatever) it can kill the discreet side. The risks are never 0 in any scenarios imo but the consensus was that major agencies were safe for both clients and providers. Now if agencies for whatever reasons didn't do enough for the providers, its on them. As a client tough i knew if i was going to Euphoria's place that i wouldn't be robbed, assaulted etc.
I know some will laugh at this, and maybe it is irrealistic, but before i became "used to how it work" my tought was always that there was a guy nearby to make sure things would be smooth. Either in another unit beside, just outside close, maybe even in the corridor. Or when it comes to outcall someone would stay in the car nearby. I also expected a "panic button" as April Rose talked about in her text. Obviously my nature would always be to respect the SPs so its irrelevant to ME specifically, but i expected that there would be bad clients and SPs had to be safe. I was surprised at first it was not the case. But then i learned about the financial aspect it would cost (imagine one driver per escort outcall, the cost would be a lot more because nobody would wait an hour for a 20...) and i learned that such incidents were indeed rare.
Indies now have decided to use more the "information route" (trough screening) rather than actual muscle on location if something bad happened on the spot. It can obviously be a deterrent because you know if you screw up, you would face severe consequences. But this mean there is always some kind of risk if someone snap or such.
What im trying to say is the risk is never zero, but there is ways to dismish it.
