Going the Indy route seems the plan. Paying for quality always been the best option anyways. Guys will have to save Up more and go to their regular Indy. Our judiciary system never meant to work smoothly with agencies...we had it good for a good amount of Time now. And when you think about it. The buisness model didn't make sense for it to work in a healthy way...Paying $270 for full GFE service incall provided...IT really didn't make sense. There's at least 2 escorte ive seen at Forever that could ask $400/h and i'm being generous here. In the lower END.

I mean, LE said that they will be targeting clients too thanks to the increased funding so.. you never know. It doesn't have to be sting operations. They could decide to trace some clients back.
I don’t think there’s 1/100000000000th the resources for that and for what? A name and number in a book proves nothing. Need a hell of a lot more to bring a case that sticks. Would be different if you were in the act and then supplemental evidence but on its own it’s not much of anything.

The Nordic model doesn't encourage ''the indy model'' at all..

It doesn't ensure that any form of prostitution is done in a safe way.

As indies we face different difficulties, our platforms getting enshittified, some getting shut down, censorship, etc. It's very hard to screen clients in this context and we constantly have to deal with the resentment of clients who are criminalized. Also, our work is still stigmatized.

Btw, we are seen as victims technically, but if we decide to stay in the industry, we are not ''good victims'', therefore we are not worthy of receiving any kind of help or tolerance. It doesn't serve us to be seen as victims. Generally people don't think very kindly of people who remain in places where they are victimized, particularly when it involves what they consider sexual objectification. I think some people here are under the impression that this supposed legal status makes us able to get away with anything and get sympathy from everyone because ''we are victims'' but that's simply not the case. Women are heavily judged for doing sex work, and most health care & social work resources are not equipped to deal with sex workers, whether they want to leave the industry or stay in it.

There are many advantages to being an indy, but many disadvantages. Particularly if you don't have a network of colleagues, or close friends in the industry.. it's extremely hard to succeed with your indy escort business. Also some of the women who are advertised as indies actually have pimps. Mind you, a girl who works for an agency also could have a pimp taking all her earnings.

Abolitionists and people in favor of the Nordic model don't understand that no matter what, unless society changes completely, there will be women who will do sex work. They are uncomfortable with the work itself and they focus on the worst abuses instead of actually sitting down with different workers who have different experiences to see what could be done. They focus on the fact that women in bad economic situations choose to do this work.. and they think it would be better working for minimum wage at mcdonalds instead. It's hypocritical.
We already know all that. You don't have to remind us everyday.

Just be thankful that the feminists and their fellow abolitionists won't try to and won't be able to take down indies in the same way that they are taking down agencies.

Why go to Euphoria who keeps all clients details?
Of course they keep customer/client details, just like when you shop on Amazon! The girls report back to the booker/owner. When I was calling Asservissante alot, Martin recognized my voice and her girls reported me back to Martin about me. Same thing with Goodgirls. I suppose the list is used to blacklist bad customers and whitelist good customers.

This is sad news, a bad situation getting worse. Goodgirls (later spinning off Euphoria and another agency whose name I don't remember) filled the gap when Asservissante and Eleganza disappeared. Euphoria was good for a while. During and after the pandemic, it never recaptured its past glory days. This is really it - the chance to see young girls with a pretty face and youthful body is going to be as rare as seeing the unicorn.
Don't worry the supply of young and beautiful women willing to try this line of work is not about to expire anytime soon. Like one member mentioned maybe agencies will be less obvious about what is offered for plausible deniability from now on. EX: Japan

The Power of Media Bro. Du jour au lendemain ta vie est upside down. Anyways bien fait pour lui tho if what they say he did is true.
Funny thing is we condemn the same dude, reading the same article that we spent 22 pages (so far) saying is full of fake allegations. Power of the Media, yes but power of the mob also.

Well, we will pay double the rate with half the quality at best. Not a good bang for your buck.

Who knows at this point? Montreal has always been at below market rate compared to the rest of the country. Will the recent developments be a factor in changing the reasons why it was this way in the first place?

Both things can be true. That eye doctor might be a real piece of shit, the same way he's portrayed in that article. However, this article might also emplifi the bad side of this hobby and the escort agency industry for some virtuose reasons. Let's be fr here. A lot of women un the industry rather be doing this then having a 9 to 5. Now, because agencies are going to shit, I beleive there's going to be rafinement on offering because SPs Who's stays in the game will raise their prices ( as a way of having a first filtering/veting process). Then, clients will see SPs less often cause of the price hike and will save more for seeing their now regular Indy.

That eye doctor, saying he paid a couple of Gs to a girl so she would live with him, manipulated, etc? Well if it is so awful, you just give his money back and leave. If a guy is paying you to stay it's already a problem in itself.

I think Montreal has been a hobby hub with "below market rate" is because of a major reason: supply. Quebecois girls are more sexually open. Girls from the country side come to the big city Montreal. Working for an agency is the fastest way to make big money.

The allegations are likely not fake, but the reporting is not nuanced. It suggests that every client abuses every provider horribly. As Luna said before, she's been randomly slapped and I've heard that others have continued or ignored the girl when she said something hurts. It's not unbelievable that people are pressured to push their limits or been strangled/hanged, been hit or been penetrated without consent. But is that every client and every session? And as Luna said, could that not also happen on a Tinder date?

However, the question is whether criminalizing it further will reduce those incidents or increase them. The reporter seems to imply interviewing only abolitionists that the entire thing should be criminalized.

That may be true but a lot of rich fucks are the ones who won't care about the increase in prices and continue to abuse SP's.
Not sure why but from personal experience a lot of super rich and 'powerful' people are some of the most mean ones I have met.
A while back a disgraced radio oncologist was in the news for abusing tinder dates.
Some hedge fund bros we're ordering girls like sushi for parties.
That shit head influencer who said that the hostesses on a rented boat ought to work naked and suck guys off because he paid X for a day on the water.

I think that those who enjoy the company of escorts because they seek intimacy or a connection and repeat with a provider are maybe safer.
Also if the rate of a girl is a treat and not just pocket change they may care more?

Sorry about the rant.
