Tokyo Vice really enjoying it
Tokyo Vice, definitely.

Since we are on that kind of forum, I will admit that the sex scenes wake up my perversions.

The yakuza boss who couldn't get it up with his mistress, followed by her soothing of his feelings, "it's me, not you... last week you were so strong you made me sore". The crime reporter who sleeps with the yakuza boss' mistress, right under the boss' nose, and while the boss is away on medical vacay. The hostess club owner who receives sex as compensation for keeping on his lowest skilled employee on the payroll, and by justifying his f-ed up sense of entitlement by saying "someone needs to give her lessons on how to treat our customers better". The yakuza underling who takes his friend out to a nightclub, as they team up to take 2 girls out to a love hotel. After the machinations at the love hotel are done, he pays the 2 girls, much to the shock and bemusement of his friend, who thought that his score was the result of his seduction game.

Seriously, the sex scenes are just the cherry on top of the sundae. The series is totally captivating, for all the right (and wrong) reasons!

Now, when is my next appointment with the vixen Asian SP...

Having just finished season 2 of the Tourist, which was good, I just started The Gentleman, the Guy Ritchie produced Netflix series which is a sort of reimagining of the film of the same name. Slightly different plot. The first two episodes are excellent. Very good acting, funny story, kind of everything that can go wrong does type of action. The entire cast is good, including the very hot Kaya Scodelario, who recently got divorced in real life. What's really interesting is the casting of Giancarlo Esposito as a highly "civilized" meth dealer - the same kind of character he played in Breaking Bad. Different name, different accent but basically the same exact character. Guy Ritchie was obviously a fan of Breaking Bad and Esposito.

There is a hilarious subplot in The Gentleman in which the Chief Weed Grower, Jimmy Chang, is completely pussy-whipped by the mysterious seductress Gabrielle, portrayed by Ruby Sear, pictured below. Apart from the Jimmy Chang character reminding me of some hobbyists I know who in the past allowed themselves to become completely p-whipped by their favorite SPs, I was intrigued by Sear, because I have never seen her in anything before. Unlike most of her cast mates, she is American:

Loved the show Gentlemen.
Anything Guy Ritchie is usually a with me
Currently watching Monarch: Legacy of Monsters on AppleTV.
Kinda the origin story of the shady organization from the Godzilla movies.
Much better than anticipated and isn't always about the monsters.

I haven't bothered with TV in years, but when I did, the lineup was pretty predictable:

  • House —drug addiction, loneliness, and narcissism
  • Lucifer —devilish charm
  • Prodigal Son —family issues with a side of murder
  • Billions and Suits — same script with different actors about being the puppeteer instead of the puppet.
  • Rick and Morty —relaxing sci-fi, with some jokes
  • Narcos — framed as a love story, with a little risk
  • Messiah —was intriguing, poking at religious controversies, but canceled after one season because it seems not everyone appreciates having their beliefs challenged

Since most shows are not good except fallout (played the game fallout 4 a lot) and it was fantastique.

I recently switch to watching Asian series currently watching YO YO Hakusho and its really good.

Jack Reacher Season 3 has officially been revealed to be based on the Book Persuader. It's in my bookshelf meaning I must have read it. Since it came out in 2003 I probably read it 20 years ago and don't specifically recall it, although all of Lee Child's early books were really good.

As indicated in the below article, Anthony Michael Hall will play a guest startling role and 7'2" Dutch actor Oliver Richters has been cast in the role of deranged bodyguard Paulie, who clashes with Reacher:

I often watch a series and move on to the next, I watch shows in marathon form, always have. I tend to remember them.and find them boring to re-watch.

But these days I have been enjoying "Hazbin Hotel," have watched it over and over. Seems every time I watch it I notice new things I hadn't before

Have also enjoyed shows like
The circle
Too hot to handle
Love is blind
(And other versions of dating shows)
Big bang theory
Little sheldon
House
Csi (all versions)
Lucifer
Glow up
RuPaul (all versions)
Cartoons are also a favorite.

Stream a lot off of youtube as well these days. Often zoning out while the algorithm takes over and always seems to find itself down the r/ reddit content readouts.

It really depends on my mood.

Compared to the last few years there is a lot of stuff on youtube now, i am an 80 junkie, horror sci fi b movies, and you get a lot of that on youtube talking about full movies.

Anime lots of good Asian anime as well worth watching.
