I hate to admit this but I am old enough to remember the Watergate hearings which at the time was live, riveting TV drama in most American households. My parents, being interested in watching political drama and intrigue play out on live TV, watched every second of it, and as a kid in a family that had one TV, so did I. In recent years John Dean has somewhat rehabilitated his image and has been featured as a political commentator on various news programs and talk shows. G. Gordon Liddy was perhaps the most interesting of that cast of characters, and they were characters. I saw the Gaslit Trailer and I can't believe the makeover they gave Sean Penn to look like John Mitchell, as he looks nothing like him at all in real life. Hard to believe he is the same actor who played Jeff Spicoli in Fast Times At Ridgemont High, isn't it?

Its a TV show. But there are quite a bit of "hostess bar" scenes and shows the client / hostess dynamics... that's about it.
Not that many though...I think there's two scenes where the main character visits a brothel (some nudity), and two other love scenes (without nudity). That's it.

The series is based off a true story, so not really a T&A show. More about the Yakuza and an American journalist working in Japan.

For me a sexy scene is a badass sexy chick beating up a dozen bad guys....lol
In this show, that doesn't happen lol.

1) Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Saw the first two episodes. Really like it and has potential. Discovery sucks.
2) Love, Death and Robots on Netflix. Very creative and original. Some episodes really hits you emotionally.

Wanted to maintain Halo as a good show but it sucks and taking off my list. Who on earth decided to show Master Chief's face especially in the first episode is a MORON!

Strange New Worlds has been absolutely EXCELLENT so far. Definitely a breadth of fresh air, in regards to the "new" Trek series.

You mentioned that Discovery "sucks", yet I'd argue that Picard is even worse. A shame too, because Picard S2 started off so well, but then ended so disappointedly.... :(

The Borg joins the Federation. LOL. Yeah WTF. I don't know Star Trek: Picard is very similar to Apple. It does something really amazing and then does a few things that are totally head scratching WTF and negates the whole positive.

Well hopefully Season 3 closes this thing somewhat to some "satisfying" conclusion. I wouldn't be surprised we find out that Picard is a secret agent of the Dominion and a Jem Hadar clone gone wrong so the Founders dumped him on earth making him think he is human.

Discovery was good for the first two seasons. Then when they went into the future I am like what is this shit?

Believe it or not, Picard Season 3 finished filming before the run of S2 ended. The bad news: it's the same showrunner as S2. It's also the final season btw.

But the good news? Oh boy, are you in for a treat. Here's the teaser trailer, it speaks for itself:

Ya I saw the preview. This whole Picard series just started out strong the first three episodes each season and then it just implodes into utter all around nonsense. Only promising is anything Capt. Pike and hopefully they don’t screw that up too.

I have watched all 6 episodes of season 1 of Bosch Legacy and it's as good as any of the 7 seasons of Bosch so far. The final 4 episodes will be released on FreeVee the next 2 Friday. So far, the subplot in the TV series that is based on the novel "The Wrong Side of Gooddbye" very closely follows of the plot of the book.

Another TV series based on Michael Connelly novels, "The Lincoln Lawyer", was released on Netflix yesterday. It's based on a different Connelly book than the movie version of Lincoln Lawyer with Matthew McConnaughey was, called "The Brass Verdict". From what I read the Mickey Haller character is now a Latino working in that population of Los Angeles. This waa changed from the books, although in the book it is revealed that he is the half brother of Harry Bosch, and their paths cross in the books, so I am expecting that in series. Has anyone see it yet?

I just finished season 1 of the Lincoln Lawyer, and it is excellent. The Mexican actor case to play Mickey Haller makes you forget his Spanish accent (while working as a high profile criminal defense attorney) by the 3rd episode. Excellent characters, plot and strong element of mystery right until the very last episode. It was #1 on Netflix in the USA last week for very good reasons.

The opening argument by Haller in the murder trial depicted in the series is about as good as an opening argument in court gets, in my opinion.

The problem now is that they have no source material moving forward. Connelly wrote 2 Mickey Haller novels, The Lincoln Lawyer and Brass Verdict, and they used the first on the movie and the second on the TV series. Fortunately, Netflix has Michael Connelly on their staff, as an executive producer, so I am sure he and the writers will come up with ideas for a season 2 which I think seems destined to happen.

Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul (which just ended yesterday, the series finale unfortunately)
I thought the Better Call Saul series finale (and the season in general) were amazing. Not quite as good as Breaking Bad, but pretty close (at least a 9/10 for me).

The series comes full circle after the names of Lalo and Ignacio (Nacho) were uttered for the first time in BB. Really good season...I loved how it wrapped up the stories of all of the characters (particularly with Nacho, Jimmy/Saul and Kim).
