I see that in general a one hour appointment is in the $180-$250 range. Does any one have experience hobbying on this weekend in the past? What do the agencies generally charge? I do understand that demand pushes prices up. Any help would be appreciated.

The agencies do not increase their prices for F1 weekend or any other special occasion.*

I have frequently seen escorts during the F1 weekend and, in fact, have had some of my best experiences in Montreal during the F1 weekend. It's true that there is more demand, but there is also more supply. So as long as you're flexible, plan ahead and have a backup plan, you will be able to hire an escort.

The one problem that does occur during the F1 weekend is that downtown traffic gets so bad at peak times in the evening that the drivers and girls often get delayed more than usual while trying to make their way across town.

*Well, I take that back. I just noticed that Montreal Lust Escorts posted in the advertiser forum that they have a 2-hour minimum (at the normal hourly rate) during the F1 weekend. I don't think that's a good policy but if it works for them, fine. However, I wouldn't recommend using them unless you are very sure that you want to see a certain girl for 2 hours.

I do understand that demand pushes prices up.

I have never seen or heard of prices being increased either during F1 weekend or during the Montreal Jazz Festival. More ladies work during these heavy tourist invasions, and that has a tendency to satisfy demand.

What does get pushed up by demand is the cost of hotels and lodging. I would expect hotels to be as expensive as we have ever seen in Montreal during F1 weekend this year, based on the trend we have seen during the past month.

I have seen prices of hotels go up and it is very hard to get a room during F1 weekend. I imagine it's harder to book girls from the agencies also. Several years ago I tried booking that weekend 3 weeks in advance and remember the rate was $240 per night at the Delta, and the following weekend the rate was $129 per night. I called the hotel and they told me that it was F1 weekend and they had very few rooms available. So I never been in Montreal during F1 weekend.

The Jazz festival is not the same. You have a lot of people coming in for the races, including fans and participants, like racers, crew, officials, etc. The Jazz Festival runs several weeks, and you have summer vacationers anyhow.

That's for sure. For the first time, I'll be staying outside the downtown area this year, because I just couldn't find anything reasonable there. But I'm satisified with the hotel that I found in Laval.

I've never heard of price increases during F1 but demand is certainly higher. As a native montrealer that is why I traditionally take a break from hobbying during this 7-10 days. No problems at all during the Jazz festival.

I came for the race last year

I always hope to see Marie Eve of Asservissante

And I was lucky enough to see her twice last year, as she certainly hardly ever works.

I won't be there this year ( just a couple weeks later )

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express by the airport, and took her first appointment on Friday, and Saturday

It was also a breeze using the Metro to come in and out of the city

The only thing that killed me was bailing out early on the F1 downtown festival on Friday night, as I had to catch the train home

But in a way, that prevented a certain hangover !!

Best Regards

I might think that many SP's play the quantity versus quality game this weekend

That is, a decent % of their clients will probably be drunk F1 enthusiasts/party people who will never hear of MERB in their lifetime, versus experienced hobbyists, so if they have trick plays in their SP playbook, this would be the week to dust them off.

diegobob, the Bait n Switch agencies will be out in force during F1 wk... u know, the lo-end agencies who hire anyone to work the week and charge u the standard rate for sub-par performing n looking ladies even clubs would have to think long n hard about letting into their establishments just to buy a drink because guys wouldnt drop cash on them... even at gun pt.

So to ans ur Q, prices will remain the same but poor quality might flood the mkt for the next few days.

The real issue u will face this wk is availability of good SP from the Top 3-5 agencies since guys will be blocking off 2-3hr timeslots and there is or will be a wait to see ladies on ur TDL.

Get ready to have a Plan B, C, D, E, F, G... lol
