Maybe there's a completely logical explanation that I haven't figured out.
For just about any type of service (not just this) you would see prices progressively decline for longer periods. And that's the case for the majority of SPs. But every so often you come across some head-scratchers: $400 for 1 hour, $680 for 1.5 hours and $800 for 2 hours. Or $500 for 1 hour and $1,200 for 2 hours.
You would think the SPs would prioritize the longer engagements because of the preparation for each meetup. But maybe some prefer more short-term deals or have a thing about longer sessions??

Not everyone is in this business for the same reason. We don’t know what someone is going through, their trauma, their goals, their schedules, their home, their energy, their mental state. Some might prefer longer meetings, some don’t.

Some things might make no sense to clients, doesn’t mean there’s no explanation or logic behind that choice.

One of the perks of this job is to be able to set your rates the way you want to!
