Hmmm
For sure my last post on standings prediction was biass/ homer ( as usual)

I m a fan and , wonder what would ve been the media s Headline shall Price had left so nuch room for that short side top shelf shot by Stastny, swiping off all the great saves made in the game by Allen...
Maybe Price would have stopped this one but the first shot of the game would have gone thru him, who knows

Fact is Price dhould have been in the net ; not because he deserves it, but because bergevin needs him to be whith the move he made ;)
Maybe he s not happy with ducharms decision

PS. T.T must be waiting on them games againts Canucks to continue pilling goals againts his old tean.

what the hell happened we looked like that team at the beginning of the year at one point i was telling myself keep a few for next game Suzuki as not been looking sharp lately so kk got a promotion playing with Toffoli and Anderson who got us going again yesterday where would we be without those 2 Toffoli singned at 4.25 million 15 goals already now thats value for your money GALLAGER is starting to play like himself the past few games and poor Danault will never see that 30million contract for 6 years on the table again no centermen in the league make 5million without a goal in 50 games so now were going on the road hopefully that beginning of the year magic will be there again go habs lets do this

well woke up this morning good news we won 5 to 1 kk was 1st star another good news and i think danault scored is 1st goal not sure but that would be another good news our centermens have got to be better its the only way we can win more games the guys had to travel in the middle of the night so i hope the legs will be there for tonights game against calgary it would be nice to get on a roll i still think we have the team to finish at least second in our division the team is playing much better the last 5 games and so is Price the new coaching staff seems to have a positive effect especially on the young players JULIEN CONSERVATIVE STYLE was no good for todays game i think everyone felt choked in is system when your scared to make a mistake thats when you usually make more because thats whats always on your mind so lets go guys another win tonight would be great go habs go

Last night's game was so reminiscent of the past seasons, it really does start to look like this team is still not cut for playoffs. Although Tkachuk was silenced and quiet, Lucic seems to still be able to intimidate everybody on the ice. Ever since he beated the shit out of Komisarek ages ago, this guy can do whatever he wants against the habs, not a good sign. Lost my interest for this year.

well this morning im pissed last game i knew it would be tuff with playing late night before and travelling but i still had hopes for a win but last night after loosing to them 2 days ago and the situation of calgary being the only potential chaser for a playoff spot i told myself we were going to come out with a knife in between our teeth and that we were going to show them that theres no way that we are going to let them come back in the mix jesus christ we didnt touch the puck for both games yesterday even worse than the 1st game we looked like we were playing shorthanded all game and this time we cant blame Price wtf is wrong with this team somtimes they look like stanley cup contenders and then they play 2 games like this where they look like a junior team playing against an nhl team its disapointing i just dont get it i dont mind loosing when i see effort and determination but this what the hell is this i remember BERGEVIN telling us he wanted players with the right attitude well where are they i thought he made good work last summer but i guess theres a lot more to be done because when i look at this team play like this were still far away from the good teams in this league 25 years of pain i cant take it no more i want a team like the one i saw at the beginning of the year is that to much to ask for yep im really pissed

A few things can explain the habs amazing start this season:

1- The team was ready to play on day 1, following their decent playoffs run( not deserved imho) contrary to their opponents, who still needed adjustment.
2- They faced very poor goaltending teams in the beginning.
3- Generally speaking, the north division, with all canadian teams, was very overated and still is by some. Although the Leafs and the Jets are interesting teams, after watching games from the other divisions, I dont see any of them making it to the semi- final.

This is the foreseeable future for the montreal canadians.

You don't win Stanley Cups playing language politics. Years and years of Therrien and Julien which never had any potential, but at least they could explain in french why the team missed the playoffs year after year. More and more I even suspect the Drouin trade was part of the politics. I find it extremely hard to believe that anyone would think sergachev for drouin straight up was a good trade.

We're a horrendous drafting team. How many of our 1st round picks are now playing in the AHL or the NorthEast Outdoor Potato Farmers League.

Even if you thought Price deserved 10 milliom at the time of the contract (he didn't) there's no way you can argue he still deserves it. He's getting outplayed not only by his backup, but by most of the backups in the North Division. The solution? According to Christine Simpson, play him more often (????????) But also, he needs more rest. But also, he needs less rest.

Defense wins championships, and our defense is swiss cheese. Weber is a Pylon, Petry is like a robot sent back in time to give up turnovers, Chiarot seems to be being paid by other teams to take bad penalties.

The team needs a full overhaul. Not the players. Management. Top down. An owner who cares about hockey. A general manager who wants to win, not just 'be competititve' or 'make it to the playoffs' The best available coach at the time, not the frenchest. And perhaps a strategy....?

Until those things happen, you have many years of watching sad montreal hockey. But hey, at least they're all still getting extremely rich.

Semi final as in “final 4” ?... haven’t checked the new playoff format but isn’t it already a given that at least one team from the Canadian division will be there ? ... if the format doesn’t favour them they will have some tough matchups
