Nice & surprising win by the habs. The Oilers are a bad team & the Habs faced them at the perfect time. When only two players (McDavid & Draisaitl) come to play every night it’s hard to win games. I would be very surprised if they can beat the Sens tonight.

...and what about HYMAN?????....méconnaissable.....surévalué?????
Non il n’est pas surevalue. Il a 32 ans. Il est dans l’age du declin. Last season was a fluke! Ayoye!

Patrick Laine has been practicing every day with the team & looking better every practice! I have a feeling he might play one of the back to backs next week. Fan favorite RHP should also be back next week after hos current stint with Laval.

So far, his team practice are only around 10 minutes. He skates alone and handles some pucks for about 20 minutes before joining the boys. Not sure if he is that close to a game return.

Laval does indeed have a very good team. The players there are very fortunate to be coached by a real NHL coach with decades of competitive coaching experience. The most qualified coach in the entire organization.

They lost their last two but both games were very close & the Rocket could have won both. I liked Hughes’ game last night. He’s a good veteran goalie to support Dobes.

Friend of mine at the Habs game tonight sent me this picture halfway in the third period. Sad.

Dach needs to be downgraded somehow, Laval?.... for the rest there needs to be leadership... I really love Suzuki, I do... but do we need another leader?
Dach needs to be benched instead of constantly being rewarded with PP time. Putting him in the press box for a few games wouldn’t hurt. I believe he’d have to clear waivers in order to be sent to Laval so that’s a non-starter.

As for Suzuki i’ve never seen him as a leader. He looks too quiet to be a leader & doesn’t seem to like being in front of the cameras. Personally i would have given the captaincy to someone like Gallagher or maybe David Savard. Sure Savard is probably gone by the end of this season however they could have given him the ‘C’ two years ago & give it to someone else next season or so.

One word: disaster

I gave up with 5 minutes left in the second period!
The 2nd period was indeed a disaster. After two periods the Habs had only 8 shots on goal. Hard to win games or be competitive when you barely get any shots at the opposing goalie.

I’m surprised anyone would pay more than $100 to attend this game in person. As if the habs had any chance against a team as good as Vegas! Anyways as long as fans continue attending games & spending their hard- earned money on expensive beer & overpriced crappy junk food then upper management will be in no rush to make the necessary changes.

If i were a local hockey fan i’d save my money & spend it instead to watch the Rocket,, who are playing great inspiring hockey in one of the AHL’s most beautiful arenas.
