I disagree. Yes, Palin was out of her league and yes, it was a desperate move by the RNC, but not to win the election. Clearly it was a move to throw the election and hand the pile of shit over to the Democrats.
I couldn't disagree more. Clinton is 100X smarter and more clever and more experienced than the mayoress of Smallville. The Republicans clearly were sacrificing both McCain and Palin
Hmmm,
You're saying despite 8 years of pushing their agenda and doctrines through the country, and spending $335 million for the McCain campaign the Republicans picked Palin to sabotage everything they believe in and fought for while a their war against "evil" still goes on.
You're also saying the "MAVERICK" McCain allowed the Republican Party to pick his Vice Presidential running mate for his last chance to be President, and they picked her to deliberately lose.
Maybe you are saying the Republican Party leaders hated McCain so much they decided to betray him and sacrifice all the Party's beliefs and goals, the policies they knew would be reversed, and the incredible expenditures and work.
Or are you saying they knew they screwed things up so bad they wanted to "hand the pile of shit over to the Democrats."
What a fascinating analysis.
Did you ever think the economy was just so bad Republicans couldn't win, even against the first "Black" Presidential candidate. How about they believed, however misguided, they were making the best choice they could and SCREWED UP! Maybe Obama and his campaign were just too good, plus the bad economic conditions were blamed accurately on Republicans. Maybe the Republicans, as usual, thought more people still saw things as they did and would believe what they said in their usual...we're the only ones who know what's right...way.
But if you want to say the real Republican goal was political self-destruction...
...it is entertaining. Try thinking about this more... A LOT ...MUCHO ...BEAUCOUP more...lol.
Cheers,
Merlot
PS
Someone like McCain would never let the party bosses have the final say who to run with in his last chance.
