A couple of months ago, the morons at TQS had her name published as the alleged victim on their web site for two days before someone clued in and removed it.

As for her brother, the other victim mentioned yesterday is supposed to be male so I guess it’s possible.

This guy is an admitted pedofile rapist (she was 11 years old the first time he forced her) and should rot in jail for the next 25 years. Of course this is Quebec so I expect the usual “deux poids deux mesures” resulting in him only getting a slap on the wrist. We had a good example of that earlier this year in Quebec City with the case of Robert Gillet another famous pedofile predator.

Hopefully I’m wrong this time.

I don't think he is going to get jail time. He deserves it, but I suspect his confession was part of a deal to avoid jail time. Nevertheless, community service, picking up garbage along St-Catherine after a wild Montreal Saturday night, isn't a bad idea after all

One Sunday morning I did observe a crew of dudes picking up garbage on St. Catherine Street and I thought to myself, "what a lousy job that must be." I have no idea who Guy Cloutier is or what he did, but picking up garbage on St. C only narrowly beats jail time.

While it is possible he thought the girl was 18 or older, having sex with a 16 or 17 year old is a little diffrent than doing it with an 11 year old. IMOHO. Still wrong in the eyes of the world, but not as bad. Hey, years ago, men married women who were 16 or 17... it was sorta common sometimes to marry a women 5 to 10 years younger than you.

Assuming Chewie's pre-edited post violated a Court order, how would he be prosecuted? The Province of Quebec v. Chewie? Where would the subpoenas be served? 301 Cyberspace Drive, Cyberland? Who would accept service for Chewie?

Unfortunately Chewie you have the same misconception about Robert Gillet as most people outside of Quebec City because the media across the province protected him from day one. One of the girl he forced into sexual acts against her will was only 15 years old.

I don’t really care if he sleeps with a minor as long as she consents to every act but that wasn’t the case her or the 17 year old SP who testified against him.

Believe me Gillet is well know for his love of physical and especially psychological abuse of woman. I personally know a half dozen dancers and at least 2 SP who’ve told me stories that would make your skin crawl about this guy going back over 20 years.

It’s one thing to be a horndog (like most of us here) and want to get your rocks off with a SP through a few hours of respectful fun but it’s totally different IMHO when you can only achieve that goal by humiliating and degrading the girl.

Guy Cloutier is one of the most powerful men in Quebec showbiz. His two daughters are also well-known, where one is in showbiz and the other married to Habs' goaltender Jose Theodore. Cloutier used to be the manager of former child singing sensation Rene Simard.

I disagree with you on imprisonment. Only psychotherapy would have helped. Going to prison wouldn't have done any good, and probably would have made him a worse sexual predator. Personally, i wouldn't send him to prison. He's not a menace to society, and he appears to be very repentant. Possibly a stay at a psychiatric hospital for assessment/therapy would be more appropriate.

As for your first statement....who knows, maybe he has spent time with sps.
