There are still some decent UFA's left like Forsberg and Selanne - come on Bob make it happen!

Please explain to me why any of those two players would want to come to a struggling team such as Montreal`s? Also please tell me why Montreal would want to blow money on a oft-injured player such as Forsberg who`s best years are long gone? Les seuls joueurs qui veulent aller jouer avec les Canadiens ces temps-ci sont des `deux-de-piques`.

maybe there is a reason why they are still free agent and nobody signed them before...

hiring them makes a flexible budget struggling while you need money to make a last minute trade in february to make the playoff...

Gotta disagree with you on this one, bud. It would be a huge mistake for Gainey to bring Forsberg to Mtl. Forsberg is now just a shadow of himself. His surgically repaired feet limit his mobility and speed on the ice. He is a sure bet to go on IR in any given game. Plus, his leadership skills in the locker room are lacking. The Flyers found out about the latter when they hit a rough stretch last year and as their captain things just kept getting worse. The Flyers were lucky to ship him to Nashville in exchange for some good players. He didn't do squat in Nashville. He was supposed to be the missing piece that would bring the SC to the favored Predators. Instead Nashville had a quick first round exit out of the playoffs.
