Interesting article. I’m not so sure that border agents are digging that much into your personal credit card transactions as a means of denying you entry into the US.

But, as a general rule you shouldn’t use credit cards for hookers and drugs, legal or not, IMHO.

Read this a couple of days ago.
If you have weed in your car that is not in the origional "sealed" container and is not out of reach ( in the trunk ), you will be charged.
It is the same law as alcohol.

Now until further notice the shops will only be open Thursday to Sunday in Quebec. Glad I will be in Calgary next week and get 4 oz for $750 of the best weed available, that should last me 6-8 months.
Friend of mine went into an Edmonton shop yesterday and all that was left was $8 a gram dirt weed, the $12 a gram was sold out.
I may go into a store to check it out but will never pay the prices.

how do border agents have access to your visa/mastercard credit card activity when they are screening you during customs at the airport or at the land border crossing.

Very good question. I doubt they have instant access to your purchases on a credit card. But, I could see customs running a search on purchase transactions used with a credit card and cross referencing it at a future date. It’s a Stretch though. I think the way most people will get jammed up is if you admit to smoking, buying or carrying marijuana. Or something really stupid like having the receipt in your luggage. Can’t track cash transactions.

Also to add, I am back in Calgary, picked up 6 oz of extreme top tier weed ( Vindicator ) for $800, he sells 1/4 for $60 and oz for $200, always top tier weed. My friend told me that his supplier is selling weed to the stores that can not get government weed.

It depends on who you know, pergaps buyers have shitty dealers and always get shitty weed, then you may find better in the store.
Now, for somene who has great sources the stores can not match it. The price always should scare you but then again, back to the shitty dealer. I met a friend who bought 3 grams top tier for $47, what I had was at least 25% better and half price.
On a side note, I sent my son an ounce of superb weed about 2 weeks ago express, after getting fed up with the late delivery I called Canada post and asked why it is not there, postal strike, he haked the value and what it was, I said weed and $200, was told it will be delivered on Tuesday.... About a hour later the Drummondville post office called me. The package smelled lik weed so it was sent for destruction, the law states that it is the same as alcohol, if there is an odor emitted from a package this is the procedure.... Bullshit... They stole my weed. The fucker at Canada post would have known this when I gave him my tracking number, they claimed it was destroyed Wednesday.
This happened today, my Christmas weed... Repeat with a new plan.
