Yes and MERB will take pro-active actions too. We will soon feature no-sex ads. We are open to new suggestions for an acronym definition that would be suit to replace our E in MERB.

Is that you t76? You could keep the E and just have it stand for Egalitarian.

In the abortion debate, the feminists are obviously pro-choice.

Pro-choice, meaning a woman has the freedom to do as she pleases with her own body.

Amazing that the feminists don't want to extend this freedom to include voluntary, consensual prostitution.

But then, the feminists believe that they know what is better for women than women themselves.

This is classic politicking, no different than the right-wing Christian fundamentalists, for example.

I am neither right or left; just noting the hypocrisy on both sides.

Nope, Mod 6 is Andrea Dworkin in reality.

BTW, E stands for "emasculation"...... :D
Ziggy, I see those testosterone treatments are working. :D Was trying to flush t76 out, but maybe she has left both boards? Oh..Oh.. I just had a brain fart…I wonder how many of the SP’s that had their ads band actually considered themselves feminists?

Things like that are nothing new in Montreal. The Gazette removed their escort ads many years ago due to complaints and I believe the free weekly 'Hour' also removed their escort ads a few years ago.

Interesting insight. I was not aware of that. Was that do to the same circumstances? (feminist pressure groups).

I’m starting to wonder if NYC is following Montreal on feminist issues. Does the The National Action Committee on the Status of Women have as much power as the National Organization for Women?
