I will never send an etransfer or show a photo ID to someone I have not known for quite sometime and trust she can have golden reviews as many as you want.
It is not about money I couldn’t care less about potentially losing $50-$100 if I really want to see someone.
I only did this once where I paid total upfront for 2 hrs and still have not gotten together with the lady, I am not really blaming her as she did give me a couple of opportunities but schedule, vacation, me travelling etc... got in the way and now with the virus. I was the one that offered she didn’t ask and if it never happens, I am glad I could help at the time, it is not going to put me in a different tax bracket she is a nice person we did manage to have a drink together at a sports bar unfortunately I didn’t have time to stay longer. I bought her lunch and a drink I had a quick coffee with her and had to leave.
I don’t waste people’s time if I book someone and have to cancel within 24 hrs I will pay them the full amount, my word is worth more than a couple of hundred bucks.

...... if I'm 30 minutes late for my 30 minute appointment with my massage therapist, I'm not getting my money back and I will have to pay in full.

I was 20 minute late to my nail and pedi appointment, there wasn't time for the pedi, I still gave her the money for the pedi.

Why should others lose money because you were not on time???
