So I’ve recently moved to montreal just 3 months ago and currently studying but right now I need to find a job but my problem is I don’t know how to speak french. Like I know some like some basics maybe. I’ve look at all the employment sites but I’ve got no responses so far. Is anybody here who is currently looking for someone to work for them? I am really hard working and passionate and willing to do anything and help whatever the work may be

Hello, and welcome to Montreal. Have you tried indeed.com? Also, you are looking for a job, but what are your qualifications, what can you actually do? Do you have training in any field? Maybe head over to a 5 star restaurant and see if they are hiring. Amazon is always hiring.

Suggestions' to get you started.
Are you planning on spending your first paycheck with an SP?

Check around Beaconfield, it is an English community and close by.
Interesting suggestion but it would be nice to know if our friend would like a french immersion while working.
I remember myself working for 2 months in Toronto after university grade and I improved my english at a fast pace.

I know there is an insane turnover at the airport, language doesn't mean too much for some of those jobs,
Westmount is also an english area,
Warehouse work seems to be a regular job english people seem to be able to get without much french needed, but with your degree that seems kind of a step down I guess...
There are many jobs around, not all are written online, most online need french understanding..
Not being fluent in french is pretty difficult here, but there are ways. most jobs that a degree is an asset tends to be french necessary here though.

I have an incredible idea that I am certain will ignite your passion. Agency’s are constantly on the lookout for skilled and dedicated drivers. If you explore the help wanted section on the merb platform, you may stumble upon enticing job listings in this field. The beauty of this opportunity lies in the fact that you don't need to have any knowledge of the French language. All you have to do is rely on the guidance of the GPS system and immerse yourself in the breathtaking views that accompany your journeys. Alternatively, you can proactively advertise your availability on the same section. You can finally be passionate about something and pursue your hobby right in front of your very eyes.Good luck buddy.

I guess it depends what you're look for but the coffee place (they sell high end espresso/coffee machines) close to metro de castelnau (Jean talon and st Laurent) has had a sign looking for employees for a while. If that helps..

They'd need to speak French
aerospace has a exemption to the french law because you can not translate english technical terms into french
Fitters testers professional positions they even hired people who spoke no English or French
Entr level positions your right even though non francophone could fo the job they would be discriminated against because of politics.but it's free to apply

Very true. Lots of places do business in English but the problem is people still speak French internally and you're a bit SOOL if your boss turns out to be very French-speaking. I agree that it's worth a shot to apply.

i am very fortunate back in the day connections were more important than anything.
in aerospace back in the 70s was english irish scottish french chinese and everyone got along
the government is happy when there is conflict with french and english and other groups
as the government is screwing everyone and their job is easier with in fighting
reason government does not like criminals is they don't like competition
and when we are fighting with each other their job to screw us becomes easier
smoke and mirrors its called
I used to vote liberal
but Trudeau is an Embarrassment
only thing that boy is competent to do...... would be
anything requreing him to handle shit with his hands!
