If any punter had a say yahoo or hotmail or outlook or ew, gmail account for years, should you delete everything and no longer use it going forward for contacting workers?

So many ladies have proton accounts now, usa, toronto, montreal ladies.

Shoud 'we'?

I think it's funny when internet users look for protection and encyption, same goes for anything connected.

If you want any kind of privacy, the only way is to unplug that cable...

Around Montréal...
It might be a very good idea to stay away of traditional free emails that are not free and peruse your emails to try to know what they could sell to you...

And if you build a new email with proton, you will be able to have automated encryption then. Not a bad idea at all ;-)

Its more of an american thing, they are very nervous there cause of the new laws. I don't think it matter for Canadians.

As for privacy etc well if you know how it work you may get a VPN if it ease your mind...

Thanks for the responses. But the yahoos hotmails and gmails are american.

Actually what I am also openf for opinions is the aspect by which these free email services have all pretty much recently sent out updates to their 'privacy' policies... twitter, not being email... has also sent out notice... haven't read theirs. But the free email services, not google... they did for years but stopped doing this about last year.... what I'm referring to is the free email accounts are being scanned for key words, checking your attachments, etc.. scanning even exif data on any photos in your emails... all to as time proceeds, collecting a fair profile of you. note that when you create these email accounts, most of them years ago, you had to provide a alternate email address for backup.. notably which, if the backup was anything worthwhile, would connect you to who you are as well, esp. say both email accounts were with 'yahoo' or essentially the same provider.

I am just curious about something. If you are really paranoid and seriously suspect that NSA is after you and your communications with Montréal escorts, why are you immediately prepared to trust this ProtonMail outfit and accept that they are indeed who they say they are? What if they are in reality an NSA front for the gullible users who are easily lulled into a false sense of security?

Besides banning you from the states, not much. But it has happenned. Some Canadian girls for example were refused entry into the states in the past (even before FOSTA/SESTA) because they were somehow recognized as being sex workers. I did put my face in some ads back when I was 18, so I know for a fact if I try to go to the states I might get refused, even if I don't plan on working there.

Guys and Gals, as you sign up for a protonmail account be sure to select @protonmail.ch and NOT @protonmail.com - as all .com's use a USA-based DNS (domain name server) that could be redirected to an alternate website (as they did with backpage). On the other hand, protonmail.ch uses a Swiss-based DNS which "should" be more secure...
