I never met an escort in a hotel/motel; it was always at their place. I was wondering who pays for the room? Does she charge more because we’re renting a room or do I pay for room?

Probably a very stupid question, but I was never in that situation so I have no clue.

YOU pay the room.
You go to the hotel/motel, rent the room for the night or for a block of X hours. Then you call the agency and give them the room number. At, or around, the agreed upon time, the lady shows up.
The lady has nothing to do with the room, or paying for it. It's all on you.

If you are going to see the escort whether it's at her place or a motel/hotel then it's an Incall and you don't have to pay extra for the room.

If the escort is coming to see you whether it's at your place or a motel/hotel then it's an Outcall and you have to pay for room.
