In terms of finding out if their looks and personality click with me, GTs are the best thing. But since GTs only happen so often (and not every single SP goes to these events), its then a mixture of website pics and reviews.

For service details, it's reviews for me. Word of mouth is good too, but I only get this when I meet other Merb ppl @ the GTs.

Ok well this really reveals my nerdiness, but when I am preparing for a trip to the paradise known as montreal, i start a spreadsheet. I list all the girls at the major agencies and I keep track of what days they work for about 5 or 6 weeks before my arrival. I color code the names according to whether I have seen them before or whether they are on my TDL. I also highlight new girls whose pics are really up my alley.

I then start re-reading reviews for the highlighted girls and make brief notations of service noted by multiple reviewers. This allows me to upgrade certain girls and also highlight girls that are definite "no's"

By the time I arrive in montreal, I have notes on a range of girls and I also have a decent sense of what days they are likely to be working during my visit.

You bring up a very old memory. Does anyone know what happened to Robin? He spent an awful lot of time compiling and updating that spreadsheet and it was actually more helpful than a compendium of reviews because the information contained therein was well organized, fact intensive and specific. I think he mentioned a few times it was difficult to keep the spreadsheet up to date because of the rate of attrition and migration that occurred in the business over the course of time. It was a laudable initiative and I found it to be a good source of information. Also was very user friendly and “just the facts” on height, weight, bust size, eye color, ethnicity etc. I also recall he used 1-5 numerical scale looks ratings. It was a pretty good resource.

Robin did it himself but at some point it became interactive and anyone could go on there and supplement it. I think I may have done so too. Robin was for a couple years the sole caretaker of the Spreadsheet.

As UB mentioned, Adagio has had online chat booking for years. I have made bookings through that chat software on a smartphone while walking down St. Catherine Street. I have also used their chat software and email for informational purposes. Usually the quality of information received depends on who is on the other end of the chat. If it's Pat, who you will catch at the salon on rare occasions, informational quality will be extremely high. Your better bet for reaching Pat is via email, as he seems to be more involved in responding to emails than chat inquiries, unless the receptionists are forwarding emails addressed to Pat to his attention.

Wow yes exactly did not knew Adagio had such, I do not go to MP. This is mostly useful to collect information and make booking before a trip, while still at home. Nothing can be more private then that!

I saw the responses regarding Robin's spreadsheet, those were primitive days in this hobby but the info was pretty accurate. I met some pretty good SP's through the spreadsheet. Memories

The original spreadsheet that Robin did was very informational and well organized. I think the biggest problem that he had was that he wasn’t able to keep updating it to match the rate of attrition of escorts in and out of the business and from one agency to the other. To alleviate that issue, from what I recall, he made the spreadsheet interactive. He did a pretty good job with the original spreadsheet. I don’t recall what happened with the interactive version.

You seem to be right. Some in top 3 sound a bit lousy; and my favorite Jennifer was not even in top 5.

She is my ATF as well, but her not being in the top 5 probably had to do with the fact that she was inactive for a good portion of the year. As far as the top 3 being “lousy” I don’t know what you’ve been smoking lol. I’ve never seen Sonia but I have seen Amanda and Meghan multiple times and they are very deserving of those accolades.
