Last time I checked, looks and intelligence were not necessarily related factors. The most intelligent people can be beautiful or hideous. The best looking people can be geniuses or idiots. As usual, your comment makes no sense.


I believe that, overall, there are more ugly people than attractive ones. Therefore, in just about every sub-category of people (such as "intelligent women") there are likely to be more ugly than beautiful people.

There may be a tendency for many highly attractive young women to be "dumber than their potential" because, from a young age, they have learned to rely much more on their looks and not their brains. Since many things in life can be much easier for a beautiful woman than for the rest of us, some of them may end up working less in school and generally working their brains less on a day to day basis (since there's ALWAYS a horny guy nearby to help a hot chick in distress)... Just speculating here...

In terms of SPs I can enjoy many different types. Some amazing moments have been had with the future PHD candidate-type SPs as well as with some that probably need velcro to tie their shoes. It depends on so many factors... Besides, none of them had much to say when their mouths were full...

Excellent comment but in our age, more and more women are graduating from university and they try to have it all - beauty, brains, careers, family, etc.

If the lady is too intelligent, she may be a little too complicated and inhibited in a session. I have experienced this with a PhD student of psychology who escorted on the side.

As far your "velcro" comment...too funny...but I doubt I would enjoy myself unless I was piss drunk.

I didn't post it as a statement of fact. I posted it as a hypothosis for why SOME attractive women may not live up to their potential in the brains department. I would hypothesize that the same could be true for men gifted in terms of looks and/or athletic abilities...

One would have to be a fool themselves to think of this as a rule or some sort of idiom. Like "white dogs run faster than black dogs" because you saw a few white dogs that were fast...

All you have to do is look at the all the hot female lawyers in the courthouse (and there are a LOT of them) and the ugly women serving java at Tim Hortons to know that... Then look at the fat, ugly female lawyers and the hot girls at Tim Hortons --- which prove there's NO rule. Same goes for men... There are plenty of sauve, good looking and athletic men who are highly intelligent.

Based on YOUR hypothesis, you must be the best looking person any of us have ever seen!!!

Intelligence and a great personality: those are the two elements which complete the picture.

I've had in Germany women who are called Optikficks: nice to look at but that is it.

Some of them are absolute duds personality-wise who try to get away with not putting any effort into it at all. Better to avoid.

This the aspect of hobbying in Montreal which I find the most disturbing: one can't check for chemistry first. She comes to your hotel door, knocks and when you open it you have no idea what kind of chick you are getting.

In Germany, I sit with her, we talk and if things work out well, it progresses into its next steps quite naturally. And as I've written many times before, if she smiles and I can make her laugh, I know I am going to have a good time with her.

I've had good experiences in Montreal but its with chicks who have had some kind of education, who are articulate, funny and can understand my sense of humor. A lot of this is communication skills. And a chick who is naturally curious is also usually adventurous when it comes to other activities we end up performing.

I've had not so good experiences in Montreal with simple girls from deep in the provinces who have next to nothing to say.
