Mmm... Crooks who are racist and against francophone (partially old "Reform Party", remember?), or crooks who have proved over and over their lack of integrity and honesty, or another bunch of various crooks who don't have any chances of forming a government...

Tough decision...

Might as well vote for some crooks who can act as a watchdog for my interests, even if they'll never be in power.

No, voting for Bloc Quebecois isn't negating Canada's unity. It's protecting Quebec's rights, something all other party don't really give a damn. Western Canada had "Reform Party" doing this for them but it didn't fly because they were too far off. They are now merged to another non-flying party (Conservators, who almost dissapeared a few years ago) and some peoples think by doing so, all Reform's extremist are wiped-out. Far from it.

Peoples still vote for Liberals and Conservators by habit: you're pissed of one and give power to the other, and so on. Other party don't have the support and never will, beside maybe NDP, if peoples really get fed-up of Liberals and Conservators.

In Quebec, we have a chance to speak for ourself, without relying on somebody from other province. Why not use that chance? Voting Bloc isn't voting for PQ in Quebec and isn't voting for separation, it's doing as good as we can with current situation. If separation ever happen, we'll see at that point. The Bloc will then dissapear because no longer required and no longer possible.

By the way, peoples going with Conservatives: Think Steven Harper... You really think prostitution will ever get decriminalized under a Conservative government? With them, religious ideas are and will still run the country. Of course, not as visibly as in USA and not like it was in Canada 100 years ago but still, homosexuality, prostitution, sex industry, all those are pleagues to be wiped out if it only depends on Conservatives.

As a westerner I don't know how much more protection I can stand from these folks who just gave Quebec another 2.2 billion!

Pour ma part, je vais voter conservateur encore. Les libéraux n'ont pas encore été assez longtemps au banc des pénalités à cause de ce qu'ils ont fait :p
You realize you're punishing yourself by doing this and not the Liberals?

I don't like the Liberals much either, but I much prefer having them than being set back a couple of decades by the Conservatives.

The conservatives passed the motion calling Quebec a nation.
They gave Quebec $2.2 billion more than it would have had under a Liberal government.

I'd love it if people who were "against me" treated me that way.

They passed a motion! Nothing more. That's usless, have no legal value whatsoever and was only intended to look like they do give a damn. Message? Now Quebec, shut up!

That they gave Quebec more money than Liberals would have allowed? Only in order to influence the vote in Quebec's provincial election, and to try gaining a few votes on the next Federal election.

Like Spiderman said, would have been WAY different if they weren't a minority government. The radicals would have been museled a lot less if it would have been a majority Conservative gov. and Quebec would have been treated a lot differently.
