For the test, it doesn't matter how often you hobby. Those who can afford to hire 3 escorts every day probably don't have time to watch porn and will therefore score lower. It's a bit weird that they don't even ask about how often you actually have sex. Or even if you do actually have ''normal'' sex.
Also, when they ask if I used internet to get romantic or sexual encounters, I say yes because that includes meeting escorts, but other respondents could interpret it as something separate.

The more I think about it, the more it sickens me. They ask about S&M and about sex with underage as if they were relevant to addiction. You're going to have normal people attracted to SM who are going to freak out for nothing; and you're going to have pedophiles that are going to use sex addiction as a legal defense. We already have some rich child molester avoid jail by pleading they suffered from Affluenza.

I think the test only refers to paying for ladies a couple of times. If it was a hobby test and it asked about frequency and the money spent for hotels, wine, and escort service the numbers here would be off the charts. I've estimated my total expenses for the ladies since 2001 at around $40,000. When you consider my frequency versus other long timers and their high end escort preferences they must be between $300,000 to 400,000 and more. That amount indicates a significant addiction, unless you're Bill Gates.

Merlot, the problem is with the misuse of the word ''addiction''. Sex addiction therapies were started by addiction therapist and has nothing to do with sexology. Sex addiction is not a recognized diagnosis by psychiatrists. Not because the problem are not real, but because the problematic behavior is caused by diverse factors, none of which is addiction to sex itself. Obsession and compulsive behaviors about sex or anything else are not the same as addiction (people who are compulsive hand washers are not addicted to soap).

That's the thing. If it was really addiction, people could not just cut back. You're addicted to alcohol? You cannot ever touch alcohol again. Many people do drink too much without being addicted and they can just reduce to a reasonable level. Convincing those people they need therapy would be a dangerous thing. What it really means is you're having sex we don't approve of and we'll tell you how to have proper sex. By the way, sex addict groups are a good place to meet other horny people so you might want to check it out!

hungry ,you really trust the result of a test where a sp like me who lives and breathes sex score a 2? Only reason I score so low I think is because for the outside world I look so prim and proper...Look being the operative word...I would take your 13 with a grain of salt?
I scored a 3 and then was a little embarrassed that I didn't score higher given the number of times I have seen an escort or been to an MP.
That's because escorts are helpless victims with no free will. But you can still be saved if you put your trust in Jesus and give all your ill-earned money to the church.
