I bet a lot of those "regular" women would like implants as well. The $7,000 price tag limits that to the groups of people you mentioned above.
My ex-wife got a pair after our second child. Brought them back to normal + a little extra. Made her clothes look better on her. Have do disagree with cloudsurf, many of my friends wives did the same thing. Maybe just the ones that could not afford them said no way for a reason not to get them. Properly done they are great. Bolt ons suck.

I met Nadya about 4-5 weeks after she got hers done to a D-size. They were as stiff and hard to deal with as she is. I never understood why someone lucky enough to have a gorgeous natural body like hers wanted to get them enhanced. My good friend met her several times and was very impressed with her naturals. The boob jobs have come a long long way in the last 20 years. There is still bad boob jobs mainly because of incompetent plastic surgeons or the lady wants them way to big for her body but nowadays if the lady has a good surgeon and doesn't get carried away with size many of the boob jobs turn out just fine and enhance the girls body. The boobs are soft to the touch, have movement and a nice shape to them if done properly. I am a fan of big natural boobs first but only if they stay where they are supposed to stay and if they don't then a boob job is the order of the day.

The media seems to play a very large influence. TV basically shows that a beautiful woman is one that is skinny with large tits. So many women that do not fit into that category feel inadequate. More often then not many young men brainwashed by TV seem to like skinny women with bit tits. Unfortunately we live in an image obsessed society and many people are superficial.
I despise fake tits with a passion. I do not like the hard golf ball look and hate the way they feel. More importantly I do not like big tits period... my preference are for B or C cups... no larger then that. Very rarely have I seen a boob job that I liked. One that I can think of is the Black girl Sasha that works at Cleopatra. I do not know if she still works there though.
Alot of girls who get implants do it more for self esteem thinking that there bigger breast will make them feel better about themselves.

I've seen 100's, maybe 1000's of boob jobs, including girls who were natural-got a boob job. Never seen even 1 boob job that looks "almost natural". Always firm, stretched skin... not for me, a real turn off.
Some guys love silicone, I don't. I'd rather see a girl with mosquito bites rather than fake tits, but that is just me. Many love them, many don't. I see where the OP is coming from. One of friend is a plastic surgeon and i always say that 90% of his customers come in his office because ther husband or friend desire implants .Those women have sugery just for the sastisfaction of their boy friend.
There are some good reasons to get implants and I think in many instances they look good. It is not how they look it is how they feel that I object to. This is the result of capsular contracture. The 2nd problem I have is a philosphical one. I visit Montreal to see mostly 18-22 year old escorts. I just do not feel that an 18-22 year old girl needs to run out and get a set of implants. I love the youthful natural girlish look of real boobs even if they are just A's.

Well, in one way they do not feel as good as naturals. However, the feel of caressing that large size, the rounded curvature, and the innate visual stimulus really gets the libido revving deep into the red line. I surely enjoy a much wider range of sizes and types than big enhanced breasts. It's really good shape in anywhere from A to DD and how well it suits the body type that does it for me.
Women definitely compete with each other. If you listen to their conversations, comparisons to other women or criticisms of them often displays a very competitive attitude. The main reason for enhancement may be to feel good about themselves, but why they feel inadequate seems to be about perceptions of what is the desirable type in the media and what other women are doing. The Cs are not natural. She got them done last winter. I saw her recently and they are indeed very nice. They looked and felt very natural, especially felt. Bianka wasn't happy with them, so she is getting them done bigger.

Many friends have said they are wowed by image as a novelty, but in fact would not want to deal with the kind of woman, physically and regarding personality type, who thinks this is what most men desire.
