I'm new in the field and a client lost the condom inside and didn't say anything to me...I only realized when I got in the shower at the end..I didn't know how to react or what what to do, do you have any advice for this type of situation?

If you can contact him (if are indy, tell him that you will not see him anymore or just block him)
If you are with agency, tell them. They will know what to do.

Selon moi l’idéal est de contacter une clinique de dépistage d’ITSS: leur but est d’aider les patients, donc tu ne seras pas jugée.

Je ne suis pas dans la région de Montréal mais je crois que la clinique l’Actuel serait pour toi une excellente ressource.

Tout à bord je suis désolée, c’est une situation bien stressante et bien fâchante. Tu es certaine que le monsieur n’avait pas remarqué que le condom était parti? Ça arrive parfois quand il n’y a pas assez de lubrification ou quand le condom n’est pas ajusté.

Si tu as des inquiétudes et préfères te protéger contre le VIH, il y a des cliniques qui offrent ce qu’on appelle le prEP.

Sinon pour les tests routiniers il faudra attendre car il est trop tôt pour détecter quoi que ce soit.

Je vais lui donner le bénéfice du doute puisque je n’étais pas sur place et je ne sais pas de quel genre de personne il s’agit. Il était peut-être trop mal à l’aise pour le dire.

S’il l’avait volontairement retiré ou si c’était prémédité, le condom ne se serait pas retrouvé dans la demoiselle.

this happened to me once with fortunately an experienced provider. In an intense cowgirl i did not notice the condom slipped off. Only after the fact did we notice.
