I was just curious about what percentage of ads on BP or ann intime are spam/bots or just plain fake? As someone who has yet to dive into the independent scene, i was hoping those of you who have dabbled can give me some feedback.

I always stick to who advertises on this site, haven't gone wrong yet, especially if they have been reviewed by more than one person.

Well, for starters, one should avoid the "eeny, meeny, miny, moe" game and choose carefully, especially since C-36.

Here's what I posted elsewhere to help out the members and hopefully, it can help a few others here as well.

I personally use several advertising venues, some a lot less reputable than CERB, and it never ceases to amaze me to see all the online scams I come across. Because of that and having heard too many horror stories about the classic and not so uncommon Bait&Switch, I thought I could offer you a few tips on how to avoid the scammers out there and save your hard earned money for an encounter with the lady of your choice, the actual lady in the picture you want to meet.

The first and most important tips I can offer you is to always do your research
before arranging that first encounter and learn how to recognize the red flags.

You might not always find what you are looking for by using this tool but you will be able to search images and see how many hits the picture(s) received; you will see if the picture(s) is being used in various countries, used by several women with different names, if the pictures belong to a porn star, model, another escort or the likes. Don't be afraid to click on those links and see where it takes you.

Again, another way to find out where and how the picture(s) is being used.

Research the lady’s name and phone number
and maybe even her email address on Google (not just on the site where you got her contact information from) and see what appears in the search results.

Reviews
Reviews are helpful in many ways and you can easily use them to see if a provider is legit or not.

Visit the lady’s website
Have a look and see if the pictures and contact information is the same as what you see in an independent ad- someone could have used her pictures and is using a different email address and phone number to practice B&S and the legit provider might be unaware of what is happening.

I am hoping these few simple tips will help you avoid some of these deceitful online scammers in the future.

Thankfully, CERB provides you with a safe environment where Bait & Switch and scams are not tolerated and when found out, they are immediately banned from the site... Even paid advertisers!

wow...thanks for the reply Gabriella! i didn't see this post but thanks for pointing it out. I have used tineye and it is def a good resource. The problem is that most of the girls dont have a website and they just post the ads. That is the sketchy part. that said, there are definitely some merbites who have TOFTT on these ads and had a great experience.

The rosy board has a no review policy so clients may only "recommend" ladies. Positive feedback only is permitted. If a guy is disappointed with a session, he is not permitted to post that on their site.

Typically I will use CERB to see who is working and do my research here or at TERB.

I didn't mean to bring up Cerb on Merb It's just that the quote I shared here was posted on Cerb first and I forgot to edit my quote.

I don't necessarily agree that Cerb recommendations should be taken with a grain of salt because a positive experience is just that (and it also shows the lady is a legit provider) but that other tools, such as MERB and TERB, should be used to complement the existing recos.

CERB is mostly an Ottawa based board (the most active section besides the general area/discussion) so if you're looking to find extensive information on providers who only advertise there, chances are slim that you will find anything on here or TERB. TERB Ottawa mainly discusses BP girls and scams or bad experiences and well, MERB mostly discusses agency SPs. Not many independents get reviewed here. On Cerb, it's the total opposite.

Anyway...
